Bella grew up in Columbia, MO and started writing when she was in sixth grade. She soon began to realize she wanted to become an author and wrote many other books which were first reviewed by her peers and then sent to a publisher.

Bella's books have entertained many and have been said to be "addicting and touching".

She currently lives in Columbia and as a young author she hopes to inspire others like her. Bella Shadow added a status update: The path to healing from the abuse and trauma I've endured and overcoming the repercussions of the past is a long and difficult one. If I could truly go back in time and prevent everything that happened to me and to those around me, I would do it without hesitation.
