Just Ask!
Here's the new cover for my next book out, Just Ask, a m/m gay for you contemporary set in Fiji. What do you think of it? This one is contracted with TWRP and will be released for a trial romp through Amazon KDP soon, so keep your eyes open!
I really like this cover. It's the brightest cover I've had, and I love the guy on it. I've been lusting after him on the stock photo sites since I knew we'd have a cover with water. I love his abs, and I'm actually a thigh girl, too. I love his legs in this one.
Blurb for Just Ask:
When business mogul Jordan Hill inherits half of Bendura Island Resort, a posh vacation destination in the Fiji Islands, the will demands he release his half uncle's ashes somewhere on the island and that he indulge in a real vacation before he sells. As Jordan is reeling with grief and under good circumstances doesn't do vacations, especially if they include horses and looming volcanoes, he finds himself on uneven footing. The footing turns treacherous as Jordan realizes, for the first time in his life, he's attracted to a man--his new business partner.
For resort entrepreneur Ryan McCale, Bendura Island is a dream come true as well as his livelihood. He was warned Jordan would try to sell sight unseen, and after meeting him, there's no doubt the business shark has dollar signs in his eyes. But there's also vulnerability and desire in that chocolate gaze. Suddenly, Ryan's looking forward to showing Jordan the delights of the island and hoping to convince his new partner Bendura could be his dream, too.
So, what do you think?

Cover Reveal! Spy Games: Endgame By Mia Downing

OOH, it's finally here!!!
What, you ask?
Why, my cover for Spy Games: Endgame, to be released by The Wild Rose Press very soon!
It was created by the incomparable Diana Carlile (check out her blog for more cover goodness: Designing Diana)
But first, a quick excerpt to get you in the mood. This is a bit from when Aaron decides to entice Charlotte to a game of five minutes in the very dark closet. He wants a chance to melt her panties, so she throws caution to the wind and sets her timer on her phone for five minutes. It's technically their third kiss (The first at Jake's wedding, second in Aaron's foyer when she unties him) but this is by far and beyond the hottest one yet!
The closet scene from Spy Games: Endgame by Mia Downing
“Kiss me,” Aaron commanded, his voice firm yet deceptively soft, his breath hot on her lips.
Charlotte shivered slightly, not expecting to hear this voice at all. It stoked a fire deeper inside, beckoned to a need just as dormant as desire had been. She leaned and was rewarded with his hot mouth slanting over hers. It was quick, almost chaste.
But he found her lips and kissed her again, quickly squelching any thoughts that he was done. His mouth claimed hers hungrily, exploring the top, the bottom of her lip. His hands never left her hair, though, his fingers madly gentle against her scalp, massaging. When she tried to slip her tongue between his lips, he tugged her hair, breaking their kiss.
“Not yet,” he whispered, kissing just below each eye.
“Seconds are ticking,” she whispered back, annoyed.
“Wait,” he demanded, and she felt his lips smiling against the skin of her cheek.
Wait…
He kissed her lips again, a little harder, a little longer, massaging, teeth biting her bottom lip. Her breathing quickened and desire began to bubble, like a pot waiting to boil. Then his tongue finally ventured between her lips, and a shock of pleasure rocked through her at light speed. The moan that escaped shocked her. He drew her closer, his fingers wrapping tighter into her hair, deepening the kiss, tongue thrusting against hers.
The air stirred, his mouth still on hers as he straddled her legs. His firm thighs imprisoned hers, his ass pressing gently to her lap. There was still no contact from his chest, just his thighs, his hands in her hair. He was able to bear down on her mouth a bit in this position, his tongue hotter, more insistent, demanding.
Oh, yes, this was what she needed, and she gave into the desire, allowing it free rein in places it hadn’t tread in a long time. She reached out, her fingers spanning his hard, smooth chest, and he grabbed her wrist.
He lifted his mouth from hers. “No touching.”
“I said outside the clothes. Not my fault you don’t have a shirt.”
“My game now. No touching.” He took both of her hands in his and pressed them each at the side of her head, against the shelf. His lips found her cheek in the darkness, and he slid them over to crush against hers again, his tongue easing in, tangling.
She struggled a bit, and he held her harder, kissed her firmer. Desire flamed, and the bubbling inside her stomach morphed to full boiled lust. She wiggled her legs and bent one knee, her thigh coming in contact with his ass, so firm. If she raised higher, she might come in contact with—
The timer dinged.
No! She swallowed, frantic.
Aaron raised his mouth from hers, his breath ragged, matching hers. “Well? Panties melted?”
Hell, yes. “Maybe you should check.”
So here it is, my cover for Spy Games: Endgame.
Yay! What do you guys think? I love it. It's got danger and suspense, plus that back is too sexy! Thank you so much, Diana!

Drool-Worthy Cover for Twisted Luck
HOWDY FOLKS!
It's been FOREVER since I've blogged, and even longer since I've put out a book. For good reason. You see, I had decided I was giving up writing. A funny thing happened...the minute I said I was done, my muse returned and POOF! I have a juicy, full-length book to share with you. For a limited time, the book is on sale for .99 during pre-order.
Cover designer Diana Carlile has outdone herself this time! Everything about this cover is perfect. It's sexy, the hero looks like bad boy demon Leo, jingling his change as he verbally spars with our heroine, Olivia. Just try not to get drool on your phone or keyboard.
Twisted Luck by Mia Downing
Blurb:
"When I told him to go to hell, I didn't realize it would be a trip for two."
All I wanted was luck—the good kind. I’d lost my job, a jerk hacked my bank account, and I caught my best friend screwing my fiancé. When stood up by my Internet date in a bar, I met the perfect man—tall, dark, and handsome in the most expensive suit. He was out of my league, but I didn’t want forever.
I barely remember the words he whispered under the veil of sin and seduction. I didn’t believe in Satan, God, Heaven or Hell. I thought he was kidding. A figment. A dream.
I was wrong. With one, breathless yes, my fate was sealed.
Businessman by day, demon by night, Leo Weston now owns my soul in exchange for good luck. Time is ticking as he works to secure my mother’s soul, too. Somehow, I have to take him down despite him being so damned gorgeous, glib, and devious. Will my gift of twisted luck be enough to save her and protect my heart?
To be released April 7, 2017.
PG-13 Excerpt of Twisted Luck (more racier excerpts to come in later posts!)
“What would you give, Olivia, to have your revenge?” he asked.
“I don’t want revenge.” But honestly…I’d sell my soul for some good luck.
“What did you say?”
I frowned. “I don’t want revenge?”
“No, the other.”
“I don’t recall saying that out loud.”
He leaned closer and practically whispered, “Say it anyway.”
I licked my lips, unable to tear my gaze from his chocolaty one. “I—” I licked my lips again. “I’d sell my soul for good luck.”
“Would you?” He leaned forward on his elbows, interested and eager for my answer.
“Would you?” I countered, shocked by his words and that I’d even contemplate this to begin with. People didn’t sell their souls. I didn’t believe in God, Satan, Hell, or Heaven. When I was little, God hadn’t helped my mother or me when we’d needed him most. I sure as hell didn’t see any help on this horizon.
“I already have. Paid the piper, too.” Blatant honesty and sadness quirked in his slight smile.
Now I sat a little taller. Had this guy been through hell and back? No way could someone fake that look, the one of cold despair. I knew it too well. I had seen it on my mother’s eyes, viewed it in the mirror when I gazed at myself. I had thought Mr. Perfect hot and out of my league, but this…maybe this soft admission put him square in my playing field.
