I've had that happen and I was just simply amazed. How could someone favourite a book by me: small town girl in the Australian outback? That is my favourite part.(less)

My first ever win!
In just several days it will finally be NaNoWriMo time! And you know what that means? PREPARATION TIME!
Usually I would have a plan by now but due to work and university I am so behind that it's not funny! I've got numerous ideas floating around but nothing that I actually have the desire to look into further. However, winning NaNoWriMo for two years in a row since I discovere Read more of this blog post »

“Isn't it nice to think that tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet?”
L.M. Montgomery

“Words are, of course, the most powerful drug used by mankind.”
Rudyard Kipling

“His heart danced upon her movements like a cork upon a tide. He heard what her eyes said to him from beneath their cowl and knew that in some dim past, whether in life or revery, he had heard their tale before.”
James Joyce, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man

“I'm oxygen and he's dying to breathe.”
Tahereh Mafi, Shatter Me

“I spent my life folded between the pages of books.
In the absence of human relationships I formed bonds with paper characters. I lived love and loss through stories threaded in history; I experienced adolescence by association. My world is one interwoven web of words, stringing limb to limb, bone to sinew, thoughts and images all together. I am a being comprised of letters, a character created by sentences, a figment of imagination formed through fiction.”

Hey! Sorry for the late message! And that's fine. :) I only have publishers following my twitter; the short stories I have published were through Write4Fun Australia, a school-based organization that provides short story and poetry competitions. Specially selected works are considered for publication once the competitions are closed and those who are especially good are considered honoured writers and are invited to exclusive competitions. This is as far as I have got in the publishing industry. I hope to be published by December next year, whether through self-publishing or a traditional publisher. I love inspiring people so let me know how you go with your own writing! If you have Wattpad you can look up my full novel "Glass Bones" for free, comment and add me as a friend! XD Young writers are the best! And thank you so much for reading 'about me' lol. Keep me posted! :D

No problem. I love talking with authors just like me! I currently am not published by any publishing houses; I'm still looking but I have only ever sent one submission. I am considering self-publishing in e-books, but I got two short stories published through Write4Fun Australia after entering two of their competitions. I'm just having trouble finding a publisher I think will be best to publish with. What about yourself? How did you get your publishing offer? :)
