the book cover is finished
cover is finished. it can be viewed at the El Paso Under Attack facebook page. it can probably be viewed here as well....if i knew how to past it. now all i need to do is wait for the editing to be done.
working through the revisions
today i was able to revise the first 100 pages. nothing major, some typo's and things like that. maybe remove a comma here and there.
i like the editor. she doesn't try to rewrite my book, she just points out errors and things that could be improved upon.
i could never work with someone that tried to rewrite my work.

if all goes well and nothing unexpected comes up...THE RELEASE DATE FOR THE REGULATORS WILL BE JULY 27!!!!!!!

the final stage of editing will begin tomorrow. i may even finish it tomorrow! everything is falling into place! GET READY FOR WAR!!!!!!!!!

The corrections from the proofreading have been added. the book is now 100% finished. I have nothing left to do but wait for the formatting on the 24th.

Formatting begins on tuesday, big chance it will also be completed on tuesday as well.
Some people do their own formatting, but a glance at the mini novel sized directions made me nervous and i opted to just pay and have it done rather than screw it up by doing things myself.
Sometimes i wish i had a better knack for computers. "sigh"
So all and all, $150 for editing. $75 for a rocking cover. The proofreading was free thanks to my awesome buddy Claudia and $30 for formatting. Giving me a grand total of $255.
So that's $255 to put out a high quality book. Not bad if you stop and think about it. I should make that back withing the first month easily.
Now all i have to do is write a description and decide if i want to price it at $2.99 or $3.99??????????

Sales are still doing very well. They might even be climbing a bit, but i can't say for sure just now. In another 15 or so days i will be gearing up for book 3.
