Clive Barker Speaks

I was so blown away when I received the email below from Clive concerning my book "The Survival of Margaret Thomas" coming out in trade paperback on April 4

“I’ve just finished my second ride through ‘Margaret Thomas’. As I said after my first reading, I knew then that I’d want to explore what you’ve achieved again, at a more leisurely pace.
I didn’t however expect to feel the desire to take up the book again so quickly, having finished it only weeks ago. It’s a testament to how deeply I am invested in the world you have created and how lovingly you etch each wounded soul that I’m sitting here as fulfilled by what you’ve written now as I was when first discovering it.
More so, in fact, because despite its energy and speed, there’s so much to savor in the narrative.
It's a remarkable book, Del.
I hope it finds an audience that sees how elegantly you’ve reached beyond the generic and found such power in this world you’ve given us as seen with new eyes.” – Clive Barker, bestselling author of Book of Blood & Abarat series, Executive Producer of Gods and Monsters
