First Post
Welcome to my Mepho Press GoodReads blog! This is of course my first post! I am excited to release my first book, The Marsh Adventures: Of Times and Places. I hope you check it out and let me know what you think. I wrote it for my son when he was 5 years old, and like Richard Adams, put it before a publisher and eventually got it published. It is a fun tale with excited and what I believe to be a great ending. It is also the first in what will know be (at least) 7 books. I am working on the pre-qual now, Generations Lost...I believe it will be just as good, if not better, than the first book. All new characters and a new story line...same marsh. All that said, check out my website at: www.ridgewriters.com where I have a companion blog with more information. At one point, just in this past week, the Marsh Adventures reached #73 at Amazon in the Short Stories in Teens and Young Adult Literature Category. Read on!

Chapter 9 - Glower
I just finished reading three chapters of "The Marsh Adventures" to my son. One of those chapters we read was Chapter 9, Glower. Of all the chapters I wrote for this book, this is my favorite chapter. Everything fits neatly together and comes together, the pace is right and one thing leads to another perfectly. Having said all that, it is just the feeling the chapter leaves you with. Each chapter leaves you with a feeling, but of all of them, I like the feeling this chapter leaves you with. There is more I wish to say, but do not wish to give away the plot. It's just a good chapter to go to bed on and ponder as you way between the realm of waking and sleeping. Good night Glower.
