Read Chapter 1 of Broken Fates

The night threatened to swallow me whole. Like the great maw of the gorge under the mountain, the void yawned wide, waiting to consume...

Read Chapter 1 of Stolen Embers

Preorder Ruined Wings

A twig snapped under my foot, gouging the tender skin as I raced through the dense trees, dodging withered branches and deadfall. But I couldn’t stop. The rushing of water drew me through the forest, calling me to that unknown place I so desperately needed to be.

Nyrah.

There was no other reason to be here—lost in this bit of nowhere—if not for my little sister. Unbidden, I screamed her name, praying that just this once, I would get an answer. But through the darkness, all I got back was st...

Read Chapter 1 of Ruined Wings

Preorder Ruined Wings

The deadliest part of my day was this stone staircase.

Hunger clawed at my stomach as I trudged up the uneven catwalk toward the overseer behind the line of other miners. The weight of my pack turned my knees to jelly as my muscles threatened to dump me on my ass down the stone steps to the back of the line.

That was if I even survived. Nausea warred with hunger as I lifted my gaze from my feet to the gaping hole in the mountain, the coming night a warning more than anything else. The night...

Dragons. Enough said.

Preorder Ruined Wings

Remember when I talked about that project that I was working on that was as if The Vampire Diaries, The Witcher, and Shadow & Bone had dragon babies and was why choose? Well, not only do we have a title and a blurb, but we also have a preorder.

RUINED WINGS will be the first book in the Severed Flames Series, and is coming August 22, 2024 (if I can't get it to you earlier).

Yes, I squealed too.

Yes, I kick my heels up every time I get to sit down and write it.

Yes, it's going to be so ...

Sneak Peek of Shadow Me!

sneak peekThere are less than 2 weeks until Shadow Me: A Gargoyle Shifter Romantasy comes out, and I am in LOVE with Styx & Corvin.

Seriously.

This black cat/golden retriever duo is one of my favorite couples so far.

I NEED you to read a special sneak peek of just how awesome they are… even when she wants nothing to do with him!

Get your Sneak Peek HERE

More about Shadow Me:

Once upon a time, I killed a god and stole his power. I’ve been paying for it ever since.

After my banishment, I promised myself three things.

One: I would never take a mate.

Two: I would find a way to get rid of the power I stole.

Three: I would punish the gods who banished me.

Not necessarily in that order.

There’s just one teeny, tiny little problem.

That power I hate? It’s a siren call to the ones who banished me, letting them know I’ve broken out of their prison.

And that mate I don’t want? Well, he found me first, and he has no intention of letting me go anytime soon–even with his life on the line.

Trusting him breaks every one of my rules, but it might be the only way to save us both.

**Shadow Me is a spicy standalone romantasy set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues Universe. Every book is a guaranteed happily ever after with a satisfying ending and no cliffhangers. Perfect for fans of Immortals After Dark, Black Dagger Brotherhood, and the Demonica series.**

If you aren't a sneak peek kind of reader, you can preorder your copy HERE

Shadow Me will be available on Amazon & Kindle Unlimited 4/1/2024.

Spells & Slip-ups Chapter One

Wren

If fucking up were a superpower, I’d be considered a god by now.

This fact was no truer than right that second as I picked my way over the cobblestones on Factor’s Walk, nearly turning my ankle in the process. Trying to right myself, I stumbled, knocking my shoulder into the brick façade, and nearly falling ass over tea kettle on the uneven stone.

It was as if the universe itself was waving a huge flashing neon sign that said I should turn around and never come back. Considering who I was an...

Dead to Me Chapter One

My life would be a lot easier if the dead in this town would just cooperate. Maybe it was the living. They never seemed to cooperate, either.

I hefted one eyelid by sheer force of will and spied the time on my alarm clock. That alarm clock was just for show. No one—not even me—used them much anymore. Lately, it was there so I didn’t have to look at the time on my phone. Said alarm clock was blinking 12:00 at me.

The power had gone out sometime since I’d fallen into bed. Figures. It didn’t matt...

Night Watch Chapter One

Waking up in the middle of a cemetery was never high on my bucket list—not that I had a bucket list at twenty-two—but if I had one at all, hanging out in a graveyard wasn’t ever going to be on it.

Of all the things that could have woken me up, it was the grainy yet damp sensation of dirt on my hands that did the trick.

Not the rain pelting me. Not the lash of wind chilling me to the bone. Not the fact that I was outside when I should be warm in my bed. No, those kernels of awareness came la...

Woman of Blood & Bone Chapter One

MAX

I was burned at the stake when I was fourteen years old. At nineteen, I was dissected by a zealot “physician” who knew less than a pile of cow shit about medicine. I was drowned in a lake when I was twenty-four. At twenty-seven, I was stoned in a public square.

When I was thirty—long after I quit aging—I finally got smart. If I stopped helping people, if I stopped trying to save the humans who were so ungrateful for my assistance, no one would know what I could do. I wouldn’t hear the word ...

Flame Kissed Chapter One

AURELIA

It starts just like they always do, from the blackness of a sleep so deep, the fabric of what is real and what is dream weaves together to make what would be.

An entryway or vestibule, the room seemed small. A little girl had opened the door, a lovely walnut wood, inlaid with a stained-glass window. The mother’s heels clicked against the cream-colored marble floor with an urgent gate as she hurried toward her daughter, her pink skirt suit swishing against her legs as she fiddled with the...
