I have a new book out!

The pandemic saw many otherwise sensible people embracing and encouraging lockdowns that robbed Americans of their ability to earn a living, practice their religions, gather with their families, and say goodbye to loved ones condemned to die alone in the hospital.

Critical thinking and cost benefit analysis was suspended in favor of a monomaniacal fear of an admittedly dangerous virus. I realized then that in order to build a freer world, we first have to tackle the issue of fear itself.
Freedom Over Fear is an attempt to do that by offering some historical perspective via a catalog of government explicitly using fear tactics in order to seize power and curtail civil liberties. It also contains some tips on how to resist these tactics and live a more courageous life.

I received some proof copies of my new book, Conform or Be Cast Out: The (Literal) Demonization of Nonconformists, today and they look great!

The cover illustration is taken from an engraving done by Gustav Doré for Paradise Lost, which I find a fitting image for the subject matter of the book. Paradise Lost is, incidentally, one of my favorite books of all time, and what I consider to be the finest long poem in the English language.

I've just learned that my new book, Conform or Be Cast Out: The (Literal) Demonization of Nonconformists, will be published on 11/26/2021 by Moon Books. Mark your calendars!

Good evening, everyone!
I'm very pleased to announce that my new book entitled "Conform or Be Cast Out: The (Literal) Demonization of Nonconformists" is being published next year by Moon Books.

The book is a study of how individuals who go against the grain have regularly been not only shunned and persecuted by roader society over the years, but have been labeled as literal demons or servants of Satan. From accused witches and magicians, to religious martyrs and misunderstood scientists, to role playing game and heavy metal enthusiasts, free thinkers have been blacklisted, tortured and killed for their ideas.

As a self-proclaimed nonconformist myself (or at least an ornery contrarian) this is a subject near and dear to my heart, which blends my twin interests of political freedom and occultism. Over the coming months, I'll be sure to keep you up to date with cover designs, release dates, and events promoting the book.
