"I found this book through a discussion on Twitter and when I found out the author was from the same city as me, I decided to read her book and it was a great decision since there are not always great books pushed on Twitter but to me this was a great decision. This book may have been more enjoyable because I am Canadian and from the same city so I understand many references to home and it was great to hear a travel story from another Canadian but if you enjoy reading about travel this is a great choice, it follows a family and their first few months backpacking across Asia, and you really feel a part of the adventure. It is a book more about experience and growing through travel and it is wonderful to read about someones first hand experience with their first time abroad and the best part is the author is always honest on her feelings about it which is refreshing from other travel stories." - Amber B
