Ibrahim S. Amin was educated at the Manchester Grammar School, the University of Newcastle, and the University of Manchester. He wallowed in education for as long as he could, earning his PhD in Classics & Ancient History. At that point he ran out of excuses and joined the real world -- where he now writes to support his unhealthy takeaway addiction.

Hope you and your friends and family are staying safe and healthy. For Suns, the best place to access the lore is the player-made wiki (the zoywiki one; I think there's a different one out there which doesn't contain as much of the material). That has all the art / images, as well as the story text and lore blurbs, whereas I don't have any of the art at my end, or the content James (Stranger) wrote for the game after I left 5PG.

All the games I worked on at 5th Planet Games took place within the same fictionalised version of our own real-life universe. The idea was that Tor'gyyl, where Dawn and Clash happened, was originally the fifth planet in our solar system (hence the name of the company) -- between Mars and Jupiter, where the asteroid belt is now. The asteroid belt represented some of the debris from when Tor'gyyl exploded. Hence Suns did take place in the same universe, just far into the future, and on various worlds / systems, since the protagonists travelled around the galaxy a lot.(less)

Mo-Ho-Ho

I realise it's six months too early for a Mohammed Christmas special. But whenever Pakistan persecutes blasphemers, I feel the urge to share another blasphemous poem -- and this is the most offensive one I've written recently.

Mo-Ho-Ho

Mohammed trudged among the damned
And grumbled, pissed, for hell was crammed
With joyful demons, revelling.
He yelled, "Haram, the shit you sing!
A Christmas carol!?! Whe
