The Most Famous Author That Pretty Much No One Has Ever Heard Of

I always like to joke that I'm "The Most Famous Author That Pretty Much No One Has Ever Heard Of".

However, apparently, more people have heard of me than I know....or see on my sales reports. (laugh)

It has recently come to my attention that I've made the list of Women Who Are Notable in Horror (though I'm red linked and may or may not qualify to have my own article based on Wikipedia criteria)!

Still, I'm currently #65: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikiped...

Who knew, right?!

Apparently, this list was compiled by WikiProject Women in Red, which aims to reduce "systemic bias in the wiki movement" by increasing biographical, issue and work content focused on women from the paltry 19% at which it currently stands (which is pretty damn awesome if you ask me). Best of all, they're using my favorite color to do so! (Lady in Red....is dancing with me.)

More about the Women in Red project here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikiped...

As some of you already know, I first found my way into Wikipedia with my Amarna novels - appearing in entries referencing Arnuwanda II and Mursili II: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?...

That being said, I would like to thank my Wiki-Angels (AKA whoever it was that nominated me for/added me to this list (as I have no earthly idea) and whoever added me to the above Amarna related entries). It was pretty damned awesome of you....and grounds for me to stop hiding outside in your bushes and watching you with my binoculars all day.

And while I'm at it, I would like to thank all of my awesome fans and readers who have nominated me for other honors/awards...of which I more often than not become aware of accidentally and way after the fact.

Grea Alexander fans: Silent but Deadly.

Cheers!

Grea.
