Oh my gosh, so I seriously suck at this blogging thing. I never know what to write, what you want to read/know... so I stare at the blank post screen forever until I give up, and then I think, oh my gosh I haven't even tried to write a post in YEARS. Okay, so it hasn't been years, but at the rate I'm going it might as well be. I wonder, does anyone even read blogs from people like me? Hum... interesting question.
Okay, so here's what is up with me....
Wolf Spell went Perma-Free (WHAT! I know, I was just as excited)
AND then... so did Ageless Sea (double WHAT!!!)
BUT THEN... I released Endless Shores!!! (I know, don't pass out from all that awesomeness in one shot)
Three of my beautiful SIL's are having babies. One TODAY (eep!) I'm so excited for them.... oh and so is my sister... and my cousin.... I'm thinking about staying away from the water, it might be infected with baby making chromosomes, and I already have four amazing kiddos....
Let's see, what else...Oh, I've started a new weight loss journey (Not as fun news as the others) but I have realized that this fat momma needs to lose some inches. It's working. I hope... oh look, a cookie.
This isn't past news, but my birthday is coming up! Whoop! I turn one year older. I'm entitled to say that and am excited, because it wasn't too long ago that I nearly died.(Yes, very serious)  Every year I grow older, and every year I get to see my kids grow is a year I celebrate.
I didn't make it to UtopYa this year, and I totally bummed myself out clicking refresh on my computer all weekend so I could live vicariously through my friends' posts. My clicker finger is tired and needs vacation after that one, wow!
I think that's it. I'm not gonna bore you with details like how I spent hours in the tire shop waiting for an a simple job such as an alignment, or how we had to replace basically the whole front end of my car.... So, I guess that's it. You have now seen the life of an author, behind the scenes full update lol.
I can't promise that I will have the best posts, or that I'll write one every single day (because let's be honest, if I remember to do one, once a week someone must have called in a miracle) but I promise to try. I also can't promise what I'll write about. Seeing as how I stated that in my first post on this sight, I think I can get a gold star for consistency hehehe. So now you know what's up with me. What about you? What have you been up to? Seriously, I love comments!

Ha! The title alone says everything. I always read the "about me" sections in books, blogs, ect... but I never really learn anything about them. Well, nothing that makes them different from all the others. I have kids, a spouse, a career. And, sometimes they have gone to college.
So, this time, I'm doing all that but with a little more detail on this about me post. Don't blame me, it's Alissa's fault. She's the owner of Author Stalkers and she is MAKING me do this post... I mean, that's what stalkers do, right?
Okay, so, I am a wife of a supportive husband (see, I have a spouse), a mom to four amazing kiddos (have kids) and I am a paranormal/fantasy/romance author (and... surprise! I have a career lol.) But, I am also the girl who hates to bake. Yup, I said it. I can cook, and very well I might add, but I hate baking. Homemade dinner? Sure. Cupcakes? Forget it. I love the soft bakery goods, but hate making them. And to top it off, when I was younger (not going into age) I was a baker! Like get up at 3am and make doughnuts kind of baker. I hated it.
I am also the girl who loves her family more than anything else. So, never make me choose, because my family will win, hands down.
I used to love camping, but now at the end of the day, you know when the night meets the sky and the creepy night animals come out and make weird noises but you can never see them??? Yeah, it's about that time that I am all for packing up and heading home. I may or may not have watched too many movies that end badly.

I went to school for wildlife and forestry (and now we see the schooling lol), but didn't finish my last THREE credits that were for the law enforcement part lol... yeah, maybe it was the movies again. I can blame them, everyone else does, right?
I have Automatonophobia or Autrobia. I am deeply afraid of robots. Yes, I am serious.
I was also a photographer and while that was fun and I was able to use my creativity, and I might add that I was pretty good at it, it was not my most desired passion.
No, (aside from family, which we already covered) writing is my passion and in December 2012 I was brave enough to finally let the world read my stories. My debut book was Wolf Spell, the first book in the Wolf Trilogy. Between then and December 2013 I had five books released: Wolf Spell (#1 Wolf Trilogy), Wolf Dream (#2 Wolf Trilogy), Mark of the Dragon (Book 1 in the Mysts of Santerrian Series), Change of Possession, and Ageless Sea (Book 1 in the Ageless Series). Since then, doors have opened that I've only dreamed about, and I am here to stay. If you are reading this, and there is one thing you take away from learning about me it's that I love.... LOVE LOVE LOVE writing and I LOVE my readers. Oh, you can also remember that I like baked goods (anything chocolate and gift wrapped works) but hate baking them.
So, now you know about me. Wife, mom, writer, hates camping but went to school for wildlife, cook but not a baker.

So my secret is out you say? That would depend which secret you are referring to. That I am a clone? Everyone knows that by now. Or that I have a dark disease pulsating through my veins, one I am quite fond of? Big deal. It’s exciting, never to have to hold back, unpredictability is a drug. We all crave it.  So what possible secret could I hold that is worth keeping? Imagine me giving you a sly smirk right now because I have not the misfortune of compassion that will cause me to spill my secrets. Without them there is no hand to be dealt.
Will my secret keep him close? Perhaps. But here is my confession, I have something better than secrecy. I have absolution. With me, he is not bound, it will be out of choice. With me, he never has to hold back. And I would love him for the good and especially in the bad. When I gave my word that I’d stop my tricks – I lied. That’s the thing with obsession. It does not care. It only wants, and it is so fixated on want, that it becomes need, and it shall have all it wants and needs.  And while I have no time to ponder who I am, clone – what a stupid word, I am already on my way to loving him forever. That’s how I play it, because I just don’t care.  Everyone knows I am nothing like my pathetic prime. That with me, it’s all bad intentions and violent, narcissistic adoration. That is not who I am. I am but one thing - in absolution.

It's actually called Automatonophobia and yes I have it! Many people would never guess that people are afraid of robots or human like androids, but there truly are others like me out there with a persistent fear. I can't tell you why I am that way, only that I've actually screamed and jumped up on a kitchen table to get away from a small robot before. Nightmares for ten more years and I can still recall the anxiety of how that felt. (Everyone always thinks it's funny to tease me about my rare and abnormal phobia so they had a robot chase me... not cool. SOOO not cool.)

The scariest movies are ones like Short Circut (oh my gosh nightmares for LIFE) and Bicentennial Man (CREEPY) ohh... and that one with Will Smith, I, Robot (I might never sleep again with lights off thanks to the makers of that movie) I can't even get a safe distance away from the TV while these kinds of movies are on. But you want to know something funny? I LOVE Transformers! They are the only robots that I have liked. Like ever. Maybe I would need an entire bottle of something for anxiety if I had to see them in person, but the movies are awesome. Oh and that cute little cartoon movie Robots? Yeah I can watch that. But that is about it! Seriously, no joke. ( I freaked out with Wall-E) And robots in person? You remember that episode I just wrote about with me on table? Yeah, that is probably a mild case compared to actually being around a tall human-like robot. No. No no no no no.

Anyway, I was talking with this sweet woman and she had no clue that this phobia even existed! So it got me thinking, what other phobias are out there? Do you have one? I mean, I just told you mine and I think it would be interesting to see if anyone else out there has the same thing! I've never ever met or talked to anyone else with my fear... maybe I'm the only one alive who has it hahahaha...Alright, your turn. Spill your phobia!
