Sweet historical with twists Loved the characters and the fantasy aspect. Very surprised by the ending but it felt appropriate for the genre. Would make a great movie. |

First of all, gorgeous cover. Yum! Second of all, and more seriously, from the first page, I felt as if I had fallen into Daya's world: her school, her friends, her mom, and her crush. A realistic yet gentle romance, an all-too-true church group that ...more |

The concept of being able to travel back in time with the help of a little candy is fascinating and fun. The way Kady got it (on a Halloween night at a carnival at a booth apart from the main festivities) gave me a bit of "Something Wicked This Way C ...more | |

Hi there! Phyllis is a very funny, very interesting and smart woman. I started her memoir - loved the first couple of chapters - but then got distracted (for a year!) and never finished it. :( I know I should. She really is a cool woman. I got the book directly from Phyllis- we did an interview together on a cable access show and then sat next to each other at the Duarte festival. We traded books at the end of the show. Where did you meet her? Did you get her book?

Look forward to talking books and writing
