Okay... Wow... What else can I say?
Well I need to thank a few people... okay a lot of people who made my life what it is today.
To my family and friends. Thank you for supporting me on this new path my life is taking. It's one I never thought would really be possible but here I am on it.
To Judy H. You were the first person to reach out to me after Grim. You explained web domains, websites and we'd talk until the battery on your cell phone would died. Our trip to Vegas is one for the books:). Thank you my friend.
To Judy B and Donna. Thank you ladies for the amazing covers. How you know how to get what's in my head on a cover I'll never know. It's been great to work with you.

Wow! Where has the time gone?!! The past two weeks have just flown by. Two birthday parties, the Super Bowl, an interview for a local magazine and Grim being released in Audible. Oh and massive amounts of writing!

With that in mind I thought you might like a little something from Ynyr...


"Are you sure that was the right thing to do Lord Ynyr?” Dai questioned as they entered the command center. “Warriors came here to help you secure and rebuild this House not to become trainers.”

“And what way would you do it Captain Dai? By removing every male? How does that build a House?”

“You would then have your choice of every Warrior here. Warriors you know to be worthy!”

“And would they then be mine Captain?” Ynyr demanded rounding his desk to sit. “Oh I certainly plan on offering positions to those I deem worthy and compatible with what I am going to be doing here. Two have already accepted. But without a training program, a fit and worthy training program no House can survive. I plan on making sure mine does and that my Warriors are the most sought after and highly respected ones in all the Empire!”
 
“That is to take time Lord Ynyr. A great deal of time and while you are doing that who is going to make sure this region is running properly?”

“Are you questioning my abilities Captain?” Ynyr slowly rose to his feet. “I remind you that I am a Lord and you are a Captain!”
 
“Of the Emperor’s Elite Guard!”
 
“Yes, one who he believed fit to assist me. You are not in charge! I am. Are we clear?”

“Of course Lord Ynyr.”

I am still pinching myself! Really? I feel like I’m on vacation and that the alarm is just waiting to go off telling me that I have to go back to ‘work’. I haven’t settled into a routine yet… it’s still to new but I know I will. My hubby was at a conference this week, which I have to admit was helpful. I woke when I wanted… which was early… ate when I wanted… which was at odd hours and wrote until my eyes were bleary.

Ynyr is well on his way to being completed and has grown in a way I hadn’t expected. It is amazing what can be accomplished with ‘uninterrupted’ time. I want to thank all of you… for without your support I wouldn’t have been able to do this.

I am working on responding quicker to emails and comments. I know it is something I have struggled with in the past, choosing to write instead of respond… I now have the time to do both!

I have great hopes and expectations for this new journey I am on and hope  you will all share it with me!

“Could what?” she asked still laughing not realizing she’d spoken aloud.

“Harm me. You are the only one that could.” His eyes were serious as they met hers.

“What?” she whispered her humor fading.

“You, Isis, are my one weakness. I would sacrifice everything for you, even my honor.”

Leah’s head spun and she tried to pull out one thought in which to argue such a ridiculous statement but there were so many swirling that she floundered.  That was until she latched onto two words that Bronsyn had said.  Words that the other warriors also used frequently.
Two measly words that brought ice to her veins and wide, shocked eyes back to the older man.
Earth.
And human.
“Holy shit,” she whispered, unable to even blink as she stared at him.  Her mind was providing other items to the list, preparing an argument so wild that she caught her breath.  The way all the guys in the house called women ‘females’ was one.  But she couldn’t believe it, couldn’t wrap her head around the crazy idea that they were…that the warriors she’d been interacting and laughing with were…
“Aliens,” she murmured on a stricken whisper.  Neither man moved a muscle or spoke a word to correct her.  So she tried more in the hopes they would jump in and immediately correct her errant thoughts.  “Extraterrestrials.  Spacemen.  Creatures from another planet.”

Hello All! I am very excited to let you know that I have a new short story coming out!  It is part of an anthology with Michelle Howard and JA Hornbuckle. It will be released on December 21st as soon as the links are available I will post them.
My offering for this for this book is from the Tornian Series titled 'Oryon'. Here is a short blurb from it.

“That is where our home is,” he quietly told her, his lips grazing her ear as he spoke.

Isis raised her hand, slowly covering his fingers with hers, as she too touched their home. “There?” she asked softly.

“Yes,” he said, curling his fingers to capture hers.

“It’s beautiful,” she breathed out, leaning back against his powerful chest.

“Not as beautiful as you are,” he told her gruffly.

Tipping her face up, she found his lips a hairs breath away and truth blazing in his amazing grey eyes. “You think I’m beautiful?”

“The most beautiful creature the Goddess ever created.” He told her before capturing her lips for a hard kiss.

Wouldn't that be a dream come true?! I'll admit I've thought about it and tease my hubby with the idea but that is a big step. It's not so much the loss of 'guaranteed' income, it's all the other stuff, medical, retirement, etc.

As for future books, oh yeah lots more coming. I know Wray took a long time to get out and I thank everyone for their understanding. I'll be honest, it was a hard book to write, I wanted Wray and Kim's story to be totally separate but still tied into Grim. It took me a while to find what felt right and I refused to let myself work on another story until it was done.

So now I have a backlog of 'ideas' that I'd only let myself make 'notes' on.

One for the Tornian series but it is far from the last. I have lots of 'notes' there.

One for the Imperial Series and there will be at least one more in the series.

And a new series called Kaliszians. I'm not sure how many there will be there as I'm still developing the world.
