Happy Spring! April 11, 2016
HAPPY SPRING!
Although it isn't feeling very 'springy' at the moment, the calendar assures me we are indeed in spring. Personally, I think Mother Nature needs to change up her meds.
As many of you know, Lady V and I have returned to the writing world. We are working hard at getting all of our old books back out, but are taking the time to both revise and re-edit each book, so please be patient with us. Also a huge thank you to our many fans who responded to our announcement a couple of weeks ago regarding our returning! You gals/guys ROCK!
On that note, we are pleased to announce Sapphamire, Dragons of Dragonose 1 has been re-released and is now available. I am including the Amazon buy link below, but if you wish/need to purchase from another vendor (ARe, Nook, etc.) please check out our website or Vinvatar Publishing (vinvatar.com) for a full list of buy sites. If you know anyone who missed out on buying Sapphamire last year, please let them know this book is back out and available for purchase. I am a firm believer in word of mouth is the best sell tactic there is!
Now, on to more book news: Up in Flames, Texas Vampire Rangers 1 is in the editor's hands as we speak, and I am hoping to have that book published later this month. Also, Fire & Ice, Dragons of Dragonose 2 will be heading to the editor's desk this week. We have been busy!
On top of revising all of the old books, we are also working on new material. Plans have been made and books have already been started in both the Hard Core Men series (this was published under Electra Remington name) and the Dragonose series! We are excited to be back working in the field we love, and will keep you updated as we get closer to the releases.

Hi everyone! I sure have missed chatting with everyone, I've been so lonely. I have tried my best to become friends with the two cats I live with, you know, I thought we could become best pals and hang out or get into trouble together, or something...but they still won't have anything to do with me.
But....now that my owners are back into writing, I get to talk with all of you! Yay! I hope everyone is doing well. I've just been hanging around, trying to take care of my two girls, and get them back to being happy. (Long story, and believe me, I had my paws full!)
I'm so happy to be back and able to talk to everyone again! I'm posting a few pictures that have been taken since we last chatted. You don't think my ears are getting too big, do you? Lol!

Happy Mother's Day!
What's New?
Before we start, we would like to wish all of our mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day! Hope you had a wonderful, special day.
Now, onto the news. We have been working hard on our new BBW series. After sitting down and mapping out the story outlines, we decided that Alice would take the lead on book one and Lady V would take the lead in book 2. So, book one is over half way finished, and we look forward in being able to announce on our next news letter in two weeks that it is in edits by then. Book 2 is about a fourth of the way finished.
We have kept a lot of this new series quiet, and we do ask for your patience just a little bit longer! However, we are releasing the names of the books:
Tequila Sunrise, Hard Core Men, 1
Whiskey Sour, Hard Core Men, 2
Promise, teasers and plenty more information heading your way shortly!
And while we are pushing forward on this new series, we are also gearing up for the upcoming release of Up In A Blaze, Texas Vampire Rangers 3! Our next newsletter will have all the details for the release party which is shaping up to be a huge bash! We have several other JK authors that will be releasing the same day we are, and we will be joining up with several of them to bring you lots of fun and prizes! So, watch for details coming soon!

Ugh! It's been raining here! As in, it seems to be raining every single time I need to go outside! Now, I don't mind getting wet, no not in the least. What I do mind is having my humans dry me off with towels before they let me step back into the house! I've managed to sneak in a time or two without them drying me off first, but the yelling about mud all over the floors and carpets I can do without!
So, please, if anyone knows how to take this rain away, please do so! My entire back yard looks like swamp land, and that is saying a lot since I have my run of almost an acre of yard! Every time I try to walk, my paws sink! Yes, it needs to stop and the sun to come out so we can go to the park again!
Oh, and I almost forgot....Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies out there! You know, I really like this holiday concept. My daddy grilled baked potatoes and steaks this afternoon, and of course, I got my own plate! Then, mommy leaned her face down and told me today was the day to show mommies love, so I kissed her on her face, and she fed me a few more scraps of steak. Now I'm ready for a long nap! Take care everyone!

Hi everyone! I have some new pictures to share with you this week. The first one, is of me and my (part-time) buddy Whitestar. See mom,we can get along and share the same window! The next three pics are of me helping Lady V out with her yoga. Due to rain, we didn't make it to the park as much as we would have liked last week, so she decided to do yoga instead. It was fun, but after the thirty minute session, I was beat! That yoga stuff is hard work!
And if you get a chuckle out of these pics, you should see us when the human females are dancing and I join in. I'd share those pics also, but they have been placed under lock and key and I can't figure out how to get to them!

What's New?
Hi! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Well, Up in a Blaze, Texas Vampire Rangers 3 is done and off to the editors. We should be hearing from the cover artist fairly soon on this, and be able to have a cover reveal.
The release party for Rubinmire, Dragons of Dragonose 5 was a huge success! Thank you to all that participated! We had a lot of fun talking with many of you, playing games, and handing out prizes. Has everyone had a chance to read the book yet? What did you think?
With the release of Rubinmire done, and Up in a Blaze finished written, we are now turning all of our attention to Adorellan, Dragons of Dragonose 6! Get ready for another Dragonose adventure as seen through the eyes of one tiny little elf, who finds he is in for more than one surprise when he stumbles across his mate, a female dragon!
Just as soon as we hear of a release date for Up in a Blaze, or receive the cover for this upcoming book, we will be sure to let you know!

A Message from the Paws: Shadow
Hi everybody! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! I sure did! My humans are insisting that some strange bunny managed to get into the house while I was sleeping, and that just doesn't sit well with me. However, he left plastic eggs hidden throughout the house, and when I found a few, I discovered they were full of little treats for me! The cats soon got into the game of finding the Easter Eggs, and it was on then! The two cats were not amused to discover that the eggs were filled with "dog" treats, but they did discover a couple of eggs just for them with their kitty treats in them.
Of course my humans took pictures, so I can share with you. We did have a wonderful day! The humans grilled out steak and potatoes for lunch, and I of course got my own plate! These humans are so good to me!
Well, until next time, take care! My humans have been scrubbing the house down this weekend, calling it Spring cleaning, but have promised to take me back to the park first of next week. Hopefully, I'll have some new pictures to share with you!

A Message from the Paws: ShadowHi everybody! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! I sure did! My humans are insisting that some strange bunny managed to get into the house while I was sleeping, and that just doesn't sit well with me. However, he left plastic eggs hidden throughout the house, and when I found a few, I discovered they were full of little treats for me! The cats soon got into the game of finding the Easter Eggs, and it was on then! The two cats were not amused to discover that the eggs were filled with "dog" treats, but they did discover a couple of eggs just for them with their kitty treats in them.
Of course my humans took pictures, so I can share with you. We did have a wonderful day! The humans grilled out steak and potatoes for lunch, and I of course got my own plate! These humans are so good to me!
Well, until next time, take care! My humans have been scrubbing the house down this weekend, calling it Spring cleaning, but have promised to take me back to the park first of next week. Hopefully, I'll have some new pictures to share with you!

HAPPY EASTER!
What's New?
Even with the Easter holiday fast approaching, we are still in high gear in our writing. So excited for the upcoming release of Rubinmire, Dragons of Dragonose 5! Yes, it is still set to release on 4/7/15! Although we are taking next weekend off for Easter, we will be sending out a short announcement with all of the details for the release party which will be held over on Facebook Tuesday, April 7! Time has not been determined as of yet, but we promise you full details by next weekend!
And just because our fans mean so much to us and are so special to us, we are going to give you a sneak peak on some of the swag that we have for the party. Yes, Lady V has been hard at work getting a jump ahead on making the swag, and has also enlisted the help of Mr. Brown! He sat down with her and made the phone plugs (seen below)! Go Mr. B!
Now, as for writing. Up in a Blaze, Texas Vampire Ranger 3 is within a couple of thousand words from being finished! Yes, this book will be in editor's hands within the next couple of days! This is another exciting book that I can't wait for you to be able to read. Just when you think things were calming down at the end of Up in Smoke, TVR-2, nope, a brand new problem emerges and puts the entire team of Texas Rangers back in the hot seat!
Oh, but we haven't stopped there! With Up in a Blaze all but wrapped up, Lady V is splitting her time between Adorellan, Dragons of Dragonose 6, and My Beloved Shewolf, My Beloved, 2! We are shooting for Adorellan to be out by end of May and My Beloved She Wolf sometime this summer!
Oh but wait, there's more! We have plotted out and started writing a brand new series that will be debuting in June of this year! This series promises to be at least five books long, and guaranteed to be chock full of hotness! In this new series, we are breaking away from the paranormal and expanding our wings over to contemporary BBW & Menage! So get ready, because we know, just know you are going to love these new stories! We've already begun the needed research and have something special in mind to add to the back of each book (similar to the Pub Menu at the back of the Dragonose books!)

I must say it has been fun sitting back and watching Carmen tie our beloved king in knots. And a bit shocking too. Did you know that he actually brought in a bit of help in running the kingdom so he would have time to court her too? Yes, he certainly did.
There are more than a few surprises along the way in this new, upcoming story about our beloved king. So, get ready for another installment of your favorite dragons!

Hi everyone! I am so excited Spring has finally arrived! My humans and I have been going to the park on nice days and walking. As a matter of fact, the below pictures were taken one afternoon this last week on our way back home from the park!
And next weekend is Easter, which means I get to have my very own Easter egg hunt! I had so much fun doing this last year! Plastic eggs filled with all my favorite treats and goodies are hidden throughout the house for me to go find! I can hardly wait! Hopefully, I'll have some pictures of me going Easter egg hunting next blog!
Hope everyone is doing well and able to get out and enjoy the beginning of Spring! Happy Easter!

Behind the Scenes with Alice & Lady V: March 16, 2015
HAPPY SPRING!
What's New?
Well, the first thing you have probably noticed is that we've given the blog a slight face lift. We are also changing to posting the blog on a once every-other week, so as to not burden you needlessly. With as many books that we want to put out this year, we felt it would be more productive to take the blog to every other week, giving us more time to work on our stories.
Now, what are we up to? Alice is working hard on Up in a Blaze, Texas Vampire Rangers 3, while Lady V is working on Adorellan, Dragons of Dragonose 6. Up in a Blaze is roughly half way done and Adorellan is about 1/3 of the way done. We will also be starting our brand new BBW series, which is set to launch mid-June within next two weeks! We are very excited about this one, but plan to keep it under tight wrap for the time being. Trust us, this is far different than anything else we have written, but we predict that it will be a huge success!
Up in a Ball of Fire, Texas Vampire Ranger 4 (which will be the last book in this series) and My Beloved She-Wolf, My Beloved 2 have both been started also and we are working on those books as well when time allows. So yes, we have a lot on our plate right now!
Now, for some really good news: We have an official release date for Rubinmire, Dragons of Dragonose 5!!! It will be releasing April 7th! We should have more information to share with you regarding this release on our next news letter, including release party information, etc.

Rubinmire, Dragons of Dragonose 5 **Available on all platforms 4/7/15
No one was more surprised than King Thoran himself when he discovered fate had gifted him with a second mate in the middle of a rescue operation for kidnapped Dragonose women and children. Nor did he expect her anger directed at him.What is a king to do when he rescues his queen only to have her despise him? King Thoran had rescued Carmen along with all the other kidnapped Dragonose women and children. Now back home, his castle is full to bursting with a make shift hospital, crying babies, scared women, and a pissed off mate.
Carmen refuses to allow for one second of sympathy towards the king. Yes, he and his warriors did come save them, but what took so bloody long to begin with? And his excuse of ‘he didn’t know’? She just isn’t buying it. Besides, she has to keep her cloak of anger pulled tight around her in order to cover up the real problem.
When Carmen finally succumbs to a foreign matter running through her blood, King Thoran rushes against time to save her. His kingdom has already witnessed him losing one mate years ago, to suffer losing a second mate is inconceivable.
But the Dragonose medical technology is put to the test as they rush against time to try and save her. Will they be able to? And can she look past her anger to see the real man her fated mate is?

Hello everyone, Walter from the Texas Vampire Rangers here with you today. Been a long time since I've had the opportunity to speak with you, and wanted to personally thank everyone who voted for Up in Smoke, Texas Vampire Rangers 2 in the Double Decker Paranormal Book of the Year award!
We are so happy to have achieved this award! We couldn't have done it without all of the support from our fans and readers, and I just wanted to take the time to say a personal thank you!
All of our rangers are doing great, although things don't seem to be calming down for us to take some much needed R & R. The writers are busy writing away, and I'm probably not supposed to, but I am going to let you in on a few secrets about Up in a Blaze, TVR-3.
First this story is about Donte. He was introduced in book two, Up in Smoke, as the ranger that did art work on the side. Remember? He's the one that did a drawing of the rogue vamp that turned out to be Susan's ex-brother-in-law.
And remember Betty? She was originally introduced in A Special Gift, Vampires Among Us #2. Her and her young son had been beaten severely by her then boy friend. She is my mate Susan's sister. Once Susan turned her in order to save her, we brought her back to Texas with us and she has been keeping a low profile. Well, now Gregory has escaped from prison, and is hell bound to find her. He starts with one of the few friends she had, Cassie, and pays her a visit.
Something told me to send Donte to go get her and bring her to Texas so we could protect her also. Call it what you like, but I just had a gut feeling. (Grins) Turns out i was right!
Oh, but that is just the beginning of the story, and things have been hoping ever since they arrived! Once again we are forced to protect our women against an evil that is bigger than we originally anticipated.
Okay, I can't give anything more away or that writer (Alice) will have my head! I may be a vampire, but that is one woman even I don't want to cross! Later guys & gals, and thanks again for helping us achieve such a wonderful award!

A Message from the Paws: Shadow
Hi everyone! It (finally) warmed up enough and the sun came out for my humans to take me for a walk around the neighborhood. I strutted my stuff, especially when we went past my girl's house. Haven't seen much of her lately, but her human told my humans that he is keeping her close to home the last few weeks because she is in heat. Not sure what that means exactly, but boy did she smell good and I really wanted to go play with her, but the humans wouldn't give us a chance to get close. We had to settle for her up on her porch, and me out in her front yard on a leash as we shared a few words while our humans chatted.
But when we got home they promised me starting next week they were going to start taking me to the park on nice days! Yay! I love going to the park! I get to run and meet new people and dogs and have a blast! I can't wait!
Oh, I almost forgot! I overheard the humans talking about Easter coming up! I remember that from last year. They kept telling me some big bunny rabbit came while I was asleep (no, I don't believe that for a second..I'm on guard twenty-four seven!) but he hid a bunch of plastic eggs for me and when I found them they had some of my favorite treats in them. It was such fun! Hope Easter hurries up and gets here, I'm ready for an Easter egg hunt!

Weekly Notes, March 2, 2015
Straight from the desk of Alice Brown & Lady V:
The fans have spoken and we have heard! Fans have requested that we release the books within a series a bit closer together, and we have heard your request! Because of this, we are taking a step back and working on the next two books in the Texas Vampire series, at which time after book four has been released, that series will close. We will also continue working on the next several Dragons of Dragonose books.
We will not be releasing any new series until early summer (look for something in the mid-June range), but I promise you the wait will be well worth it! So, what is in the works? Here is a running list of what we are currently working on:

Hi everyone!
It snowed here this week! Honest to goodness snow! Of course we then had a layer of ice over top of that, which made getting around the back yard rather difficult, but I soon managed! I just quickly learned if I started to slip, just flop down on my rear, and skate across the yard! What a blast! Here's some pics of me playing in the snow!

The fans have spoken and we have heard! Fans have requested that we release the books within a series a bit closer together, and we have heard your request! Because of this, we are taking a step back and working on the next two books in the Texas Vampire series, at which time after book four has been released, that series will close. We will also continue working on the next several Dragons of Dragonose books.
We will not be releasing any new series until early summer (look for something in the mid-June range), but I promise you the wait will be well worth it! So, what is in the works? Here is a running list of what we are currently working on:

Straight from the desk of Alice Brown & Lady V:
We have some good news!!! As you are reading this, we are putting the final touches on Rubinmire, Dragons of Dragonose 5! Yay!! Haven't heard a release date yet, but anticipating it sometime mid-March. We will, of course, let you know just as soon as we hear something. Now, once Rubinmire is done we will be concentrating on finishing up My Ballerina, Adorellan, our surprise series that will be coming out beginning of summer, and also Elijah, which will be Dragons of Dragonose 7! Yes, the gorgeous, moody vampire does find his mate! So keep an eye out for further news as we get into these new books!

Okay, we did our duty as good mates and made sure our females were well taken care of on Valentine's Day. We made certain to show them nothing but love and appreciation all day long. But what in the world is this "St. Patrick's Day" all about?
We have to walk around wearing something green and have four leaf clovers strung all over us? What??? We are dragons! And not a one of us has a drop of Irish blood in us (or at least none that we know of); and frankly, are there actually people that would take a chance and walk up to a dragon to pinch us for not wearing green? How about if we just hang out a sign that says, "You will be roasted if we are pinched!" Will that work? Oh, the sign HAS to be green??? Are you kidding?
And by the way, we'd like to make a complaint. If there can be a day for leprechauns, then why isn't there a dragon day?

Hi everyone! Hope everyone is staying warm in this cold winter weather we've been having. I happen to like the cold weather, but we've been having strong winds which I don't care for. I really don't want to go out late at night when the wind is blowing hard and it is so cold. Kind of scary, you know? Thankfully, my mommy tells me to hurry up and do my business, and she is quick to let me back in. Now, when dad's home, he will sit out on the back porch with me, lighting the fire pit to stay warm. Then I don't mind staying out there for a little while, as long as it isn't raining or even worse, ice coming down!
I heard the humans talking the other day about spring coming soon! I think I like the sound of that, especially since dad just bought a great big new grill today and said that he is now all ready for spring to hit so he can grill out. Yum-yum! I love grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, steak, chicken, ribs....hmmm, I'm working up an appetite just thinking about it!
So, hang in there! According to my humans, spring should be starting in just a few short weeks!
