Though there is an abundance of evidence of the existence of technologically superior civilizations tens of thousands of years ago, it is popularly believed that the Ramayana took place millions of years ago and that the Rama Empire was – obviously – a technologically challenged civilization that relied on magic and divine intervention to prevail over it’s demonic opponents. This calculation of the approximate era of the Ramayana was arrived at through researching ancient texts. In 1894, an EVENT of landmark importance took place – the publication of The Holy Science by Sri Sri Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri, after which the exact dates of events, especially in the context of ancient Indian history had to be drastically revised. This important book deserves more visibility, or else the prevailing idea of a primitive Rama Empire would continue to be perpetuated in books and films. This blog is dedicated to my best friend & spiritual mentor – Swami. Some of the information in my book had already been posted by Swamiji in one of the social media accounts that I had opened for him while training him to use the Internet.
