A-list Hollywood producer describes “How the Rama Empire disappeared 10,000 years ago” as “a very worthy story”

At least one veteran Hollywood producer has confessed that “How the Rama Empire disappeared 10,000 years ago – 3 magical tales from the Ramayana” is “a very worthy story”. The global film industry has all the technology and talent necessary to make a blockbuster movie out of this book. Convincingly recreating a hi-tech civilization that existed more than 10,000 years ago, on the silver screen, would be a routine task for filmmakers these days. A full fledged Ramayana movie produced by a major studio has long been on the wishlist of hundreds of millions of Indians as well as film buffs all over the world. However most film buffs are unaware of a niche area of scientific research that proves that the Rama Empire is a civilization that is technologically far ahead of our own. Filmmakers who exploit this fact will be able to benefit from the fresh life infused into a series that once commanded the attention of hundreds of millions of t.v. viewers all over the world.

When did the Ramayana take place ?

Though there is an abundance of evidence of the existence of technologically superior civilizations tens of thousands of years ago, it is popularly believed that the Ramayana took place millions of years ago and that the Rama Empire was – obviously – a technologically challenged civilization that relied on magic and divine intervention to prevail over it’s demonic opponents. This calculation of the approximate era of the Ramayana was arrived at through researching ancient texts. In 1894, an EVENT of landmark importance took place – the publication of The Holy Science by Sri Sri Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri, after which the exact dates of events, especially in the context of ancient Indian history had to be drastically revised. This important book deserves more visibility, or else the prevailing idea of a primitive Rama Empire would continue to be perpetuated in books and films. The brief Introductory chapter provides a simple mathematical explanation of certain astronomical parameters that will convince most readers that the Ramayana era ended approximately 10,000 years ago.

Ramayana month in Kerala, South India

Thrissur readies to usher in ‘Karkkidakam’

Special ceremonies usher in Karkkidakam

Preparations on for ‘Nalambala Darsanam’

This blog is dedicated to my best friend & spiritual mentor – Swami. Some of the information in my book had already been posted by Swamiji in one of the social media accounts that I had opened for him while training him to use the Internet. ( I had been coaching him for some time until he grew confident enough to outgrow the keyboard habits that he had acquired from older workstations.) We made a really good team – I would do all the research and discuss it intensively with him, after which he would post the best and most interesting research findings. I am currently out of touch with Swamiji, since he had to leave suddenly to pursue some long term spiritual obligations.
