NAMUH Book 1: A 5-Star Review + A Question for You

Hi everyone,

I’ve just returned from the Gympie Muster (still shaking the dust off!) and while I was there, I couldn’t stop thinking about how far NAMUH has come in such a short time.

I wanted to share something special with you today — a 5-star editorial review of NAMUH Book 1: The Awakening. Readers are calling it:

🌌 “A powerful blend of sci-fi, spirituality, and climate fiction.”
🌍 “A story that lingers long after the last page.”
📖 “Unforgettable characters with a message that feels urgent and real.”

And there’s more exciting news: the Goodreads Giveaway has just ended, and over 2,863 readers have already added NAMUH to their shelves. That kind of response is both humbling and inspiring — thank you for being part of this journey.

But before you dive in, I have a quick question: Do you prefer your authors clean shaven or unshaven? 😉 I had a little fun with this in a new video, and I’d love to hear your vote.

✨ And here’s some good news: for a limited time, the NAMUH Book 1 eBook is just $0.99 on Amazon.

👉 You can grab your copy right here: https://namuhtrilogy.com

Book Release

Hello to you all. It's just about Friday here, so I'm eagerly waiting to push the go button on NAMUH Book 1: The Awakening.
If you haven't heard about it yet, you soon will. The book is already on Listopia before its release. +100 pre-launch reviews, awarded Readers Favourite 5-star emblem on its cover.
A major statement comes from the reviews. I know I have produced an excellent story, but the descriptions of how this book made the readers feel left me in tears.
You guys have access to read them for yourselves, so I will not include them here, but seriously look at them for yourself. You will find editorial reviews on the Readers Favourite platform, and there is one of them attached to the Amazon page.
When the book goes live on Amazon, I will place a couple of surprises somewhere on the Goodreads site.
I know this is my book, but I created it for the world. Please read it sooner rather than later; you will understand why after.

Another 5-Star Review for NAMUH: The Awakening

The word is spreading… and I couldn’t be more grateful.

This week, NAMUH: The Awakening received its second 5-star review from Readers’ Favorite. Reviewer Jefto Pierre shared these words:

“Imagine a world on the verge of total ruin due to ecological collapse and political unrest—a world almost devoid of hope and full of despair. Desmond Knipe creatively shapes and shares this poignant reality with readers in NAMUH: The Awakening.”

“Miraculously, the solution to this dying world lies in the hands of five people gifted with phenomenal supernatural powers. Michael, Tara, Sophia, Apollo, and Brahma originate from different parts of the globe, yet their unique capabilities make them Earth’s last hope. The planet itself has summoned them to heal it. Guided by an enigmatic presence, will they be brave enough to fulfill their true destiny?”

“NAMUH: The Awakening is an intriguing philosophical novel steeped in mysticism, sci-fi elements, and human connectivity. It activates every component of your brain. Through the lives and backstories of these characters, readers gain a deeper understanding of trauma, inner healing, and transformation. The psychological intensity of this story runs deep. Readers who enjoy novels with spiritual and emotional depth will undoubtedly appreciate this series.”

What struck me most in this review is the recognition of NAMUH’s emotional and psychological layers. Yes, there’s action. Yes, there are sci-fi and mystical elements. But at its core, this trilogy is about humanity—our capacity to heal, to transform, and to remember who we really are.

As launch day approaches (August 8th), I’m deeply thankful for early readers who are resonating with this story.

If you’re ready for a novel that blends:
Sci-fi and mysticism
Ecological and emotional themes
A metaphysical journey of awakening

…then I invite you to step into NAMUH.

5 Star Rating from Readers Favorite

A 5-Star Review for NAMUH: The Awakening

I just received a 5-star review from Readers’ Favorite for NAMUH Book 1: The Awakening, and I couldn’t be more humbled—or more excited to share it with you.

Here’s what reviewer Eric Ferrar had to say:

“Desmond Knipe’s NAMUH: The Awakening takes place in a futuristic world where human disconnection and environmental issues are common, recurring trends. The story focuses on Michael, Tara, Brahma, Apollo, and Sophia: five strangers from different countries around the world who share a unique psychic ability. Each protagonist is psychically drawn to an ancient Kauri tree in New Zealand, but none of them seems to know why. As they gradually become acquainted with each other, they discover their true purpose: to guide humankind through a revolutionary spiritual change that could alter the outcome of the universe itself.”

“Desmond Knipe has a talent for creative writing! He skillfully merges spiritual philosophy with futuristic ideas in a way that feels inventive and original… Characters like Michael, Brahma, and Apollo bring intensity and emotional variety to the plot in a way that never feels overstated, but adds heart to the storyline. If books like The Four Agreements and A New Earth ‘speak’ to you on a profound level, this book will readily do the same.”

“Overall, if you prefer narratives that exercise your mind, NAMUH: The Awakening is the right novel for you.”

To have NAMUH compared to books like The Four Agreements and A New Earth is deeply gratifying. I’ve always believed this trilogy isn’t just a story—it’s a conversation, a remembering, and maybe even an activation for those who feel the call.

If you’ve been searching for a novel that blends:
Science fiction and mysticism
Environmental awareness and psychic connection
Soul-level questions with page-turning stakes

…then maybe NAMUH is the one waiting for you.

NAMUH: The Awakening launches August 8th, 2025.
Pre-order now on Amazon, Google Play Books, Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, and other major platforms.

The Fix It Series

Hi everyone, the Fix It Series is out on the 9th of December on Amazon Kindle,

It has both Fix It and Find it within the one book.
When people see the covers and read the titles they don't really see what they are getting with these two books, so I thought that I might take this opportunity to explain.

They are both guided writings, meaning that when I was writing them I had assistance from spirit guides, now if you choose not to believe in spirit guides that's fine, they still make for a great read.

Fix It, is designed to reconnect (Fix) our internal dialogue, to understand the connection between body and mind, then it guides you to understanding of more, I will leave it here or I will give away too much.

Find It, is designed to locate (Find) our spiritual self, there is a connection that everyone on this planet has but unfortunately, most never get to use it, as the teachings have been eliminated from our societies.

There is a third book to go into this series, but I have not completed that yet, the title is 'Fulfil It'. When you have finished reading 'Find It' you will begin to understand where this title will lead you.

I hope this answers any questions you may have had about these two books, I really do hope that you get from them the guidance that is supposed to be conveyed.

Cheers.

Of things yet to come

Firstly, Happy New Year, I hope your celebrations are joyous and eventful.
I, unfortunately, have drawn the short straw at the wage cage and have an early morning job to do requiring me to be sober.

The second book in the Fix-It series is out although I still must find the time to make the Audiobook, yet to come.

I have had a few friends read the first few chapters of the Syfy/Fantasy novel that I am writing at the moment and from the feedback have gone and changed a few things.

The story follows five people of different nationalities and backgrounds that are bought together to rectify a world that has started its decline into a nonviable climate for humanity to survive.
The environmental solutions that are presented within the story are all projects that I have worked on or that I am developing at the moment.
I will start posting a few sneak-peeks of the book next year, so if you enjoy Syfy, Fantasy, Super Heroes, excitement, romance, intrigue, and suspense, as well as amazing solutions to rectify the damage of climate change, then keep an eye out for them.

Wishing you and yours a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.
