Imaginarium: A Truly Magical Experience!

I traveled to Liberia Costa Rica for a friends birthday- great weather, relaxing (except for our hotel under attack by giant flying grasshoppers which was horrifying). 
 For those who know me, you know my love for exploring new corners of the world fuels my imagination. Recently, I had the chance to explore the crystal clear waters of Costa Rica and spend quality time with a friend. The sights, sounds, and stories I encounter always find their way into my writing in some form or another. Right now, I’m preparing for my next trip to Panama! BAM! We heard a door slam open, and my heart nearly leaped to my throat in fear. I spun around to see a very angry-looking Marcus standing at the front door. His long hair partially covered his face, his blue eyes dark and menacing, and his lips fixed in a silent snarl. He looked large and imposing, hands gripping the door frame, nails digging into the wood, which he almost had to bend under to get through. I was quickly reminded that he was a killer. Someone who knew exactly how to hurt people and get the job done. He no longer looked like the sweet awkward guy at the café or the gentle giant from earlier. I had poked the bear.

I had made a damn mistake.

My heart sped up, threatening to rip through my chest, every muscle in my body froze, and sweat pooled under my armpits and dripped down my spine. He certainly had thought of everything, like how to get sober and break a freaking ward.

He pointed at me. “You, stay right there!”

He hadn’t used his alpha voice, which had the usual effect of forcing an omega to comply. I thanked God for tiny miracles, let out a high-pitched scream, and ran like I was being chased by wild dogs.

Happy Spring! While my next book is currently with my proofreader (more on that later), I’m taking a writing break. Well, break is not really what’s happening, given the title. I have lots going on.

I am at a crossroads of what I want to do next. One option is to write more spicy romances under my Liz E Cooper pen name. I have two more ideas in this omega world and am encouraged by the feedback for How to Fail at Avoiding an Alpha Demon. Another option, is to pick back up my CC Solomon pen name and write a robot post apocalyptic sci-fi romance (I know it’s a lot) that I have swimming around in my head as well. Decisions decisions. What do you want to read from me next?
