I will be offering and signing my books on Saturday Sept. 6 from Noon until 3 at the Regional Library location in the Spotsylvania Towne Centre mall. Stop by and say hello.

The writing begins when you’ve finished. Only then do you know what you’re trying to say.

Write without pay until somebody offers to pay.

As to the adjective: when in doubt, strike it out.

If I had more time, I would have written less.

In literature imitations do not imitate.

Use the right word, not its second cousin

Books are the liberated spirits of men.

You need not expect to get your book right the first time.
