What a whirlwind!
In case you hadn't heard...I released a book called Wait With Me!
In case you also hadn't heard...it was based on my own experiences.
And in case you also may have missed...it went VIRAL!
I'm talking Buzzfeed, Scary Mommy, Babble, and even network television. Heck, even a Canadian radio station posted an interview with me! It's been insane!
Because funnily enough, there's a story behind this story...
And it's about a romance writer named Amy Daws who snuck into a local tire shop to write that has now ended in a bestselling romantic comedy. :)

Once upon a time, an author started sneaking into a tire shop to write in their waiting room and pilferage their complimentary cookies and coffee...
Oh yeah! That was me!!! 😂
It basically blew up into a social media reality TV show where you didn't know whether to pity me...the crazy author who was so desperate for words that I was willing to write next to the scent of fresh rubber...or give me a standing ovation. 👏👏
To commemorate the kind of story you can't make up, I wrote a rom-com about it called Wait With Me!
Now...I've gone back to that tire shop!
Next In Line centers around Sam, the best friend of our Wait With me hero, Miles. Sam is the nephew of the owner of Tire Depot and he's falling for his best friend's little sister, hook, line, and sinker!
Next In Line is my new standalone release and it features all the loveable characters you met in Wait With Me, so prepare for some laughs and some steamy scenes all set in the beautiful winter wonderland of Boulder, Colorado!

The story of Allie Harris and Roan DeWalt hit ALL the buttons for me, without going over the top. Allie Harris wants payback, but revenge is never a simple game and when her payback plan doesn't work out as planned, you're in for a ride. It's emotional without being sad, engaging without being trite, and doesn't take the easy way out of the conflict as many other romance novelists might have. The family connections only get stronger with this audiobook, particularly between Allie and her British family. This can be listened to as a standalone, but I highly recommend starting at the beginning of the Harris Brothers audiobooks after you finish Payback.
The narration of Payback is delicious, and a huge part of that credit goes to the smoky sexiness of Aaron Shedlock's South African accent for Roan DeWalt. His delivery is perfection-giving enough accent without going too far. Erin Mallon as Allie Harris gives a fantastic performance, as usual. She is one of the great female narrators in romance audio and gives her character all the emotions perfectly. Will Watt and Charlotte Cole play their Harris Brothers characters as they have in previous audiobooks, giving that authentic British flair that has become a staple in this series.
This audiobook delivers a straight up goal and makes it look easy. A fantastic story plus superb narration will keep you listening and re-listening.
