The Road to Unfreedom - an important book that explains why everyone should care about Trump-Russia.

Every day we learn more and more about how Trump sold out America before the votes were even counted in 2016. But there is more at work here than the foolish actions of one criminally incompetent and bigoted buffoon. This book delves into the deeper causes of the challenges and crises currently facing western-style democracies around the world, and it is well worth a read.

Guardians of the Galaxy
I know this is Goodreads, but I finally saw Guardians of the Galaxy this weekend and wanted to share...

What an awesome, fun, doesn't-take-itself-too-seriously, sci-fi, action movie! I was curious about this one for a while because of the high ratings - and wasn't disappointed. Some parts are really cheesy, but in a good way that has you laughing along with the movie. I thought it was good for kids too if they're not too young, and if you're ok with a little violence and language.
I thought the raccoon was hilarious, and Groot doesn't say much in the beginning, but becomes very important in the end - what a cool concept and character!
Don't expect to tackle any deep sci-fi/philosophical type themes, but if you're looking for a fun Friday or Saturday night flick, I highly recommend this!
