Never Say Never is coming May 21st

Are you ready for Frisco's story? You all loved the BEST best friend who helped Presley find love in Fool For Love but shunned it for himself.

Well you know what I said to him?
Never Say Never, Frisco! And I was right because once he met Torre, there was no turning back.
Never becomes Forever.

Here's a little snippet.

“How’s the wedding planning coming along?”
But Presley, now that he’d fallen in love with Nate and was properly loved in return, had discovered a steely spine and wasn’t afraid to use it, especially with me. He’d blossomed into a confident man.
I’d created a damn Frankenstein.
“Liar. Don’t change the subject.” As if fighting an internal war to hold back, Presley hesitated, then plunged ahead. “If you think I can’t see you’re a hundred miles away from this conversation, you’re wrong. You’re my best friend, like my brother, but you don’t let me see who you are inside.” Dark-eyed and somber, he pressed his lips together and shook his head.

And if I have my way, you never will. It’s not a pretty sight in here. You’re the light to my dark.

With a smile on my lips, I swept my hand out in a grand gesture. “I’m me. A little bit sarcastic, always well dressed, with a palate second to none.” I brushed at the lapel of my suit. “And now, apparently, relegated to eating lasagna at a place called Mangia.” A shudder rolled through me. “I’d better stop at CVS and buy up their stock of Pepto and Imodium. I don’t foretell a pleasant ending to my night.”

Excerpt From Running From My Heart

If you follow me on social media, it's no secret how much I love the characters of Ross and Arden. To me, they're my most real characters—ones I'd like to have as personal friends and meet for coffee. I have had a hard time letting them go to move on to the next book.
I wanted to share a little excerpt from the beginning of their story for you ahead of release. I hope you enjoy it.
Running From My Heart will release in Kindle Unlimited. The first book, Broken Silence, will be on sale for only .99 cents for release week.

Running From My Heart:
“Stop it.” I tightened my grip around him. “Stop fighting. It’s okay to fall apart.”
“I’ll never put myself together if I do. I can’t bear it,” he gasped. “I can’t take it anymore. I can’t stop hearing their voices, their laughter. I don’t want to live without them.”
“But you have to.”
“Why?” He held on to me, finally.
“Because there’s no other way. You were meant to be left behind for a reason I can’t say. It’s up to you to find that purpose.”
He was skin and bones under his shirt, yet I sensed his physical power. He’d need to channel that to mentally push through this grief that clung to him. I wondered if he had any family and why they’d left him to fend for himself. Again, I thanked God for Foster’s friendship. When I’d returned to the city, I’d lived with him in his brownstone, recuperating and relearning to live a life without Dominic. If not for Foster in those dark days after Dom’s death, I would’ve ended up like Arden or worse.
After a moment Arden pushed me away, and I let him go only because he seemed stronger. He wiped at his face, and I scooted away, giving him a chance to regroup.
“That was very spiritual of you. I don’t think of having a purpose in life, other than to live it.”
“I’ve been known to have deep thoughts on occasion that stray from my favorite subjects of food and sex.”
“How surprising. Those were my two guesses as well,” Arden said dryly, then flashed me the semblance of a hesitant smile. A quick uptick of those generous lips, but it was enough. “Thank you for listening and being understanding. I haven’t allowed myself to let go like that.”
“You should. This is the perfect environment. No judgment, no eyes. No one to answer to. Let it go. Scream your head off.”
He took a sip of his coffee and met my gaze. “Is that what you did?”
My hand shook, and I set the cup down before I dropped it.
“What do you mean?”
“If you came up here to rest and recharge, to get away from well-meaning friends, as you said, to me that’s code for running away from something, as I’m doing. So what are you running away from, Ross Miller? Or who?”
