I’m deep into Sebastian and Samaera’s story. Actually … Sebastian is deep into Samaera at the moment, and I needed to come up for air. lol.
But I wanted to share the opening scene for The Boss with you. I'm loving this book so much! Sebastian King has met his match when it comes to Samaera Mathieson. I can't wait to share it with you.
Chapter One

"Precious Kitty, where are you?" I call my cat, lifting the blanket off the sofa, looking for the white fur ball I found abandoned in the alleyway when she was a kitten years ago. The poor thing was half-starved, terrified, and caught in a downpour with nowhere to hide. So I scooped her up, tucked her in my jacket, and brought her home.
She's the one female in my life I can count on to be her authentic self. Thus, I let my hunt for her highness go, respectfully, if not a bit reluctantly.
"Fine," I announce, not wanting to be late for the Yankees game. "You can stay out, but you better not climb the curtains while I'm gone."
