At long last, I am excited to present my newest book Red Winter , the first installment in a brand new YA fantasy trilogy!



I had a really tough time keeping this book under wraps for so long and I'm thrilled to finally share it! I've always been inspired by Japan—its culture, history, and rich lore of gods and spirits (kami and yokai). Red Winter takes the fantastical magic, supernatural creatures, mysterious heroes, and forbidden romance that readers loved in the Steel & Stone series and weaves them against an enchanting, exotic backdrop of Japanese mythology.

Over the last couple months, I've been working on another project: a book trailer for Red Winter! I got to participate in everything from making the costume, to writing the script, to scouting locations, to watching the filming in progress.
