“To be a victim is what awaits every lover
This is what needs to be said to those
who never loved.
In reality, everyone lives with a knife stuck in their hearts
To take that knife out is up to whomever
we've given our heart to
Those who open their hearts to others are lucky
But those who keep their doors closed,
Are buried where secrets are buried
living with the pain of that knife there
Because they let no one in their hearts,
they have no one to take it out
Tears seep through that dagger, no one sees; they mourn with misery, no one hears
They are thought to be happy;
but they feel cold even when burning in fire
It is hard to keep the door of the heart shut,
it requires endurance to loneliness
Yes, maybe pain cannot penetrate;
but neither can pleasure
And in the end, they become their own
executioners
This is the end waiting for those who've never loved:
To be their own executioners instead of being the victim of others.
