How To Be Successful When Nothing Is Going As Expected

We grew up having dreams. BIG dreams. Dreams like:

- One day being the President of the United States (even though you’re in Grade 1… in Canada).
- Wanting to be an astronaut who spends all day traveling through space.
- Wishing to become a young wizard at Hogwarts after you waited ever-so-patiently for an owl to deliver your acceptance letter when you became of age.

I just recently decided I wanted to be an author. An author of books. Books that people read – and yet, read I do not. Not as often as I’d like anyway, and certainly not often by most standards.

When you look back, at school is pretty much where most of us felt we reached our reading quota for life. We read because we had to, so that we didn't fail the course or grade. You’d think that because we were forced to read so often – and because there are so many different genres and types of books...

Should You Kill the Fat Man?

Even as I begin this post, I have no idea what the end of it is going to look like, let alone what the next sentence will hold. But what I do know, is that morality is one of those things that we hold on very tight to, get defensive of, even are willing to kill and die for (in some cases), but rarely re-examine in our adult years.
