Beth Hi Alexandra ... Happy Memorial Day!

I know this sounds odd, but it's almost like it's not happening to me ... LOL! I like to think that CeeCee, Oletta and Aunt Tootie are out there sharing their story and making new friends all over the world and that I'm just their publicity person. Sometimes, when it really hits me, I get choked up envisioning my story being read by so many people in such diverse languages. Thanks for always being so kind and supportive! I sure hope I get the change to meet you when I'm on tour for my next novel! xxx ~ Beth

Beth If I meet the deadlines (LOL) then my new book should be published in 2013.

It's so incredibly different from CeeCee, I hope you'll like it!

Marta Moran Bishop Ah Beth I am so excited and happy for you, Oletta, Aunt Tootie, CeeCee & Mrs Odelle and all of the rest of the gals.

It is such a wonderful book and truly a part of me even though I am not in all those countries understands what you mean when you say you are their spokesperson and it is their story.

I am so proud of you and so very happy that I really could dance and sing right now.

Congratulations again it is so very deserved.

Marcy I loved loved the book. We read it for our book club and then I recommended it to everyone I know. Thanks for such a wonderful book. Keep them coming. Marcy

Beth Hi Marcy! Thanks so much for stopping by and taking time to write. I'm tickled that you loved CeeCee's story and really appreciate that you're recommending it to your friends! I'm working on a new novel right now, and I adore it. It's scheduled for publication in 2013.

Krystyn Oohhh how exciting!!! What a great story to be shared WORLDWIDE!! Congratulations to you (and CeeCee & Oletta too).

Krystyn :)

And I meant to add..that I can't wait for your next book and tour...hoping you come by a city close to me so I can say HI!!

message 11: by Beth (new)

Beth Hi Krystyn! I would love it if the 2013 tour for my new book brings me somewhere close to your area. What bookstore/town would you suggest so I can mention it to my publicist?

message 12: by LizH (new)

LizH Had to butt in on the city mentioning phase of your upcoming tour...come to Kansas City!!! Talk to Rainy Day Books they are an amazing indie book store that handles a tremendous amount of signings. Beth, if you remember when we first started talking when CeeCee came out, they had you booked incorrectly. So, I would love it if you could make it for the 2nd book!!

message 13: by Beth (new)

Beth Hi Liz! Yes, you do remember correctly, there was a mix up and I was never scheduled for Kansas City. I'll make sure to remind my publicist!

message 14: by LizH (new)

LizH The only thing better than reading your new book, would be getting to finally meet you! Keeping fingers crossed!

message 15: by Beth (new)

Beth Thanks, Liz! I'd love to meet you in person too!

We have a great Barnes & Noble right in the "center" of town and near the mall. It would be a great location. :)

Oops..I left off the town (Knoxville, TN). :) We rarely (never) get book tours/authors here (too small I suppose)...Nashville is the next largest town & if it were to work w/my schedule, I'd make the drive out there.

message 18: by Beth (new)

Beth I love Tennessee ... I did a huge author event in Memphis last fall. I know Knoxville is small, and most likely I won't be sent there, but I'll ask about Nashville for sure.

ok...I'll cross my fingers for Nashville...it's only 2.5 hrs away, whereas Memphis is 7!!

message 20: by Beth (new)

Beth Just for the heck of it, I'll specifically ask if they can send me to Knoxville.

All they can say is "no" right? :)

message 22: by Beth (new)

Beth That's right, and it won't hurt to put in the request!

message 23: by Jim (new)

Jim Dear Beth, thank you for writing such a beautiful emotional novel. I have had the good fortune to often visit Ohio, and know all to well via friends to visit Savannah and Beaufort, S.C. Your story of Cee Cee just fits so perfectly with the surroundings you created and the situations written of. This is one of those books that will go in my bookcase to read again when I am in the need of an emotional boost. A dose of love always cures those needs. Ask Cee Cee.

message 24: by Beth (new)

Beth Hi Jim, thanks so much for your kind words. I'm delighted that you enjoyed CeeCee's story, I loved writing it.
