Teo Interesting, thanks!

Are there other works of fiction featuring bicameralism? I know only of Snow Crash (haven't read yet).

Marcel Yes, it's exciting....hoping this turns on many new people to Jaynes's ideas.

So yes "Snow Crash" but also Robert Sawyer's "WWW: Wake," and Neil Stephenson's "The Big U."

You can also see Jaynes's influence in Philip Pullman's "The Golden Compass" series and "A Scanner Darkly" by Philip K. Dick, who corresponded with Jaynes at one point.

Amber Excellent. I've got the first two episodes on the DVR.

Roger Booth The series invites us to ask a lot of interesting questions about identity, consciousness, and social narrative.
