and, um, what else? the book is a selection of the barnes & noble "discover great new writers program" for the fall... and starbucks coffee picked it as part of their "bookish reading club" thing for august... also i recorded some stories for kqed when i was up in SF... apparently they'll be broadcast soon though i don't know when quite yet.

that's about all i can think of now. the book went into a second printing. my car broke down but is mostly fixed. no time to read, is my only complaint.
