He ran his hand through my hair and tucked it behind my ear as he whispered, “You are stunning.”

I wrapped my arms around his neck with a smile and asked, “Is this your way of apologizing for being a dick earlier?”

He snorted, “Yes, it is.” He pulled me closer and rested his cheek against mine, his breath against my ear, “Do you forgive me?”

“I don’t know, what are you going to give me?”

He pulled back to look me in the eyes, “Everything.”
