Mark your calendars!!

The summer is already heating up, and besides writing a book (book 3 in the VIntage Toyshop Mysteries is due to editors on September 1st) I'll be attending a host of events coming up...maybe one near you! This list may not be complete. Check back for more!

Suffolk Mystery Authors Festival, August 12th Picture I'll be in Suffolk, VA, meeting and greeting and sitting on panels, and hopefully signing a few books. This will be my 3rd time attending as an author. This festival is big enough to make it worth the trip, and intimate enough to be able to talk with people. Hope to see you there! http://www.suffolkmysteryauthorsfestival.com/ Murder as You Like It, August 19th Mechanicsburg, PA. This is a first time for me, attending this one date mystery conference associated with the well-regarded Mechanicsburg Mystery Bookshop. I'm sitting on a panel titled, We are the Puppet Masters, and I've been given the green light to bring a puppet or two with me. Check their site for reservation information. https://www.mysterybooksonline.com/calendar Death of a Toy Soldier, paperback release, September 12th Picture Of course, you can already get it in hardcover or as an e-book, but if you've been waiting for the spiffy paperback edition, it's available for pre-order now! Murder Mystery Train, October 8th Happy to say I'll be one of the guest authors on the Murder Mystery Train hosted regularly by Duffy Brown and Tonya Kappes (along with Laura Bradford and Lynn Cahoon) as they travel to my neck of the woods in Lockport, NY!  http://twodamesandatrain.blogspot.com/ Picture Murder on the Toy Town Express, release, October 10th Picture Liz McCall has come to love running her father’s vintage toyshop back home in East Aurora, NY, so when the Train and Toy Show comes to town, she’s all aboard for a fun toy-filled weekend. The only hitch is that her childhood bully Craig McFadden, now local business rival, has set up a booth next to hers. But the fun and games are over when Craig falls from the ceiling in a publicity stunt gone wrong.

What was initially thought to be a fatal accident proves much more sinister. Pulled into the case by her feelings for both Ken, the police chief, and Jack, her high school sweetheart whose brother is one the prime suspects, Liz dives headfirst into the investigation. But as she digs deeper, she’s shocked to learn her father may have been the intended target.

The trouble train is barreling down and Liz may have just bought herself a first class ticket in Murder on the Toy Town Express, Barbara Early’s delightful second installment in her Vintage Toyshop mysteries.

Pre-order now from your favorite booksellers!
