My August so far...

Near Enough to Hold a serial love story - part two (Near Enough to Hold, #2) by Kim Golden I'm on vacation in the US, visiting family and friends, but that doesn't mean I am resting the entire time.

I've already been to a writer's retreat organised by Xio Axelrod. We had a great weekend, sprinting with Susan Scott Shelley, Kate Forest, Wendy Goldberry and several other writers.

I also had a writer's lunch at the Philadelphia Museum of Art with Veronica Forand and Xio Axelrod.

What else have I done? I signed books at Behind the Pen: a Literary Experience in New York City, a wonderful event organised by the Sistah Girls Book Club. While there, I reconnected with Lily Java and Nia Forrester. I had fangirl moments meeting amazing authors like Tia Kelly, Christina C. Jones, Jacinta Howard, Mika Jolie, Danielle Allen, Love Belvin, Keith Kareem Walker, Sylvia Hubbard...there were so many great authors there, and I am sure I've forgotten to add names, but it's not intentional.

And... the second instalment of Near Enough to Hold is now...LIVE! :D Hope you're enjoying following Nick and Keisha's story.
