Something Like Family

It's hard to believe Something Like Family has released into the world. This book of family and hope began germinating in my heart when we saw a beautiful monument while vacationing in the mountains of North Carolina. Standing guard over the town, a stone soldier honors the men of Bryson City, North Carolina who lost their lives while serving their country.
I was moved.
I knew I had to tell a similar story. Barton, Tennessee became the fictional town where an estranged grandfather and grandson must navigate the rocky waters of "family."
When I read words like, "This is my favorite Heather Burch book yet," I know that others feel the same sense of love and appreciation for our soldiers.
Thank you to everyone who has read Something Like Family. If you haven't, I hope you'll give it a try.
