Immortally Yours is out!

Beth and Scotty's story, Immortally Yours, is finally out on the bookstore shelves! YAY! Seems like just yesterday I handed this story in to my editor! Beth is an awesome heroine. Although she'd been put through the ringer time and time again as a mortal, she overcame the hand she was dealt and thrived as an enforcer. And Scotty, crusty stubborn Scotsman that he is, is about to learn a lot from Beth. She’s definitely his equal and will never allow Scotty to rule over ANYTHING in her life.

So, I finished my last two books on my last two contracts; one historical and one Argeneau. Now I have some free time. Woot woot woot!! And I started on and even finished several projects in the evenings this last week. A new cushion for Teddy’s dog bed that goes in my office. A new mattress or cushion for the dog bed in the kitchen (both of which had been eaten by the dogs who just love giving me projects). I also replaced the low toilet in the downstairs bathroom for a higher one, and I’ve been refinishing and painting a table that we keep the dog dishes on in the kitchen. Nearly done that. Hmm, just realized as I wrote this that other than the toilet, all of my projects were dog related. Guess I must love the mangy mutts, lol.

I suppose I’ll have to consider new projects. Or maybe new books. I could finish the new Argeneau I have two thirds done. I was having fun with it. It has pirates. Yes, you read that right. Pirates. They are immortals and used to be proper pirates, but now sail around the Caribbean luring tourists onto their pirate ship ostensibly to sail out and feed the sharks. Of course, the mortals think the pirates are just in costume as a tourist attraction. They don’t realize there is no chum involved, the sharks they’ll be feeding are the pirates, and that they, the tourists, are the ones on the menu. Bwahahahaha. Oh, sorry. I was having fun with this one. The hero is a Notte, one of Christian’s cousins from the band. I think his name is Raffaele, but I suck at remembering names so might have it wrong. It’s not Santo or Zanipolo. Santo’s story comes after Raff. I already have a story idea and heroine for him, even started that book too. Yes, now that I think about it, I’m pretty sure it’s Raff in the pirate story. But Santo and Zani are there with him. They’re actually all there because Raff and Zani had to take Santo away on a vacation to help him get over what Dr. Nasty did to him in Immortal Unchained. Zani picked the vacation spot, and Raff is none too pleased with the hot and sunny choice he made . . . until he meets Jess. Jess is in the Caribbean as a guest of a relative’s wedding, and her cousin dragged her onto the ship of pirates who happen to be rogue immortals run by one Captain Vasco. Oh my Gawd he was so much fun! Guess I should stop there or I’ll be giving the whole story away!

So, change of topic, but not much of a change . . . I’ve been toying with titles for my vampire pirates. I’m considering Ship of Rogues, Vampirates, and The S.S. Immortal. Those are a few I’ve come up with. But I suck at titles so any opinions or ideas would be appreciated. Maybe we should have a contest. If someone comes up with a better title and we use it, they get something. Yeah, I’ll talk to Terri about it. So if you have a title idea, hang onto it and wait for the contest. But any opinions on the ones I’ve listed would be appreciated in the meantime.

So, that’s all from me now. Later guys!!

Janice You're welcome. Have a great evening.

message 5: by Shaunna (new)

Shaunna OMG!! I couldn't put it down! I loved this book! Beth is amazing!

message 6: by Clarice (new)

Clarice Dinner was late, I also couldn't put it down. Stay up the rest of the night to finish it. Beth and Scotty are two people who have have hard lives. Beth had a life that was damaged by the men in it. She worked hard to make herself whole and love herself again. Scotty needs to rethink what he believed. With an enemy closing in on Beth. Scotty needs to learn that he has no need to protect Beth. She worked hard to get that way. Scotty needs to see Beth as an equal and stand with her.

Janice Loving it, and enjoying reading about naive Donny, who's as much fun as that jokester, Justin.

message 8: by Clarice (new)

Clarice Can't wait for a story for Donny, who still has a crash on Lucian's wife Leigh, however, Lucian would never have found his own life mate if not for Donny.

message 9: by Janice (last edited Sep 29, 2017 08:55AM) (new)

Janice Very true, that's why the....rest of their story...was so funny to me. I...really...had felt sorry for naive Donny. I also hope he finds the right lifemate...one day. Beth & Scotty are fun; also love Matias. Matias might be a fun "brother" to have.

message 10: by Clarice (new)

Clarice I could be come like Donny/ Getting a crash and the hot's for Matals.

message 11: by Janice (new)

Janice Matias would make a fun elder brother, if he was real. Loved Donny's crazy reaction to coffee/caffeine.

message 12: by Janice (new)

Janice Also loved Scotty's reaction to Matias. I assume that Odilia went rogue.

message 13: by Laura (new)

Laura Can't wait to read their story <3

message 14: by Janice (new)

Janice It's a fun, and very funny.

message 15: by Clarice (new)

Clarice Had a great time with Beth and Scotty's story. Waiting for the others as well. Donny was the best comedy unleashed. It came way out left field. Never seen that coming.

message 16: by Janice (new)

Janice I agree...loved that crazy Donny. Can hardly wait for Twice Bitten.

message 17: by Janice (new)

Janice Halfway done, and counting the months for Twice Bitten.

message 18: by Allison (new)

Allison Lamb Just finished this last night, LATE last night! I absolutely love this series and always can't wait for more. A big fan of the historical books too!

message 19: by Janice (new)

Janice Finished a couple nights ago...loved it. Counting the months for Twice Bitten.

message 20: by Janice (new)

Janice Happy New Year.

message 21: by Clarice (new)

Clarice Have a Happy, safe, and Healthy New Year as well.

message 22: by Janice (new)

Janice Sure plan on it. Have a great day.

message 23: by Janice (new)

Janice New Years Day was nice and calm, just my 87 years old Mom, and me.

message 24: by Janice (new)

Janice Happy New Year.

message 25: by Clarice (new)

Clarice Happy to hear that you and your Mother had a great New Years. Same here, just family. We were all asleep.

message 26: by Janice (new)

Janice Nice, and restful. Have a great day.

message 27: by Janice (new)

Janice Just placed Twice Bitten, on reserve, in my local public library, and plan to special order 2 hardback copies, from Barnes & Noble. Be interesting to see which I get first.

message 28: by Clarice (new)

Clarice Already purchased and ordered my copy from BooksAMillion. Just waiting for release and shipping date, which is March 27, 2018. Just had to make sure that I have a copy asap.

message 29: by Janice (last edited Jan 11, 2018 10:23AM) (new)

Janice I...miss.... Books-A-Million, as the one I can get to the easiest-- along with the nearest Bookland...its sister store-- went out of business, oh well.

message 30: by Clarice (new)

Clarice The one that we had within the city of Chicago, Il. Closed as well I have to travel out to a suburban location or order online. I miss it as well. Had great people working there. They would hunt down books for me and give me a call when that arrived. I had a hold box in the back room with my name on it. It was one-stop shopping. Loved it.

message 31: by Janice (new)

Janice Never special ordered from my Books-A-Million, or Bookland, as it really wasn't...very...convenient for me to get, to them, but Barnes & Noble has done well, by me.

message 32: by Clarice (new)

Clarice I do understand that, which is why I loved those special people that I had met. Now, I am on my own. Checking several online websites. I think that my UPS guy, thinks I keep him in his job.

message 33: by Janice (last edited Jan 13, 2018 09:13AM) (new)

Janice Just pre-ordered 2 hardback copies of Twice Bitten, to be held for me inside Barnes & Noble, this time. Might be safer, as I've never even seen, who's delivered my books, in the past.

message 34: by Clarice (new)

Clarice I understand.

message 35: by Janice (new)

Janice So far, I've had no trouble with having my books delivered at my home, but with the negative press during Christmastime, I'd figured I'd best be careful with Twice Bitten.

message 36: by Clarice (new)

Clarice I have lucked out. We have great neighbors. We make sure to get everyone on the block packages.

message 37: by Janice (new)

Janice That's great. My neighborhood is...aging, and or rental...oh, well. Have a great day.

message 38: by Clarice (new)

Clarice Our neighborhood is aged. Which is why we look out for everyone. Some have lived in their homes for over 30 years. We have been here for 20. Senors on the block. We check. You have a great day as well.

message 39: by Janice (new)

Janice Thanks much, we've had a "big" snowday....3-7 ins in NC, and my library was closed for a day, and very...very busy, the next.

message 40: by Clarice (new)

Clarice We had 3-5 ins, here in IL. Everything around us closed as well.

message 41: by Janice (new)

Janice I can believe it. Here around Charlotte, NC, people ...almost....go "crazy", if they just see...one...snowflake. I stay off the roads.

message 42: by Clarice (new)

Clarice We are used to seeing snow every winter. We just ask how much this year?

message 43: by Janice (new)

Janice I believe it. It seems that Charlotte, is often "skipped" by snow, instead we get the ice and/or the "mess".

message 44: by Clarice (new)

Clarice The snow here has already melted. Just waiting for the next round. It is a very nice day. Going shopping, while I can.

message 45: by Janice (new)

Janice That's great. Mine completely melted Saturday, and now we're having a few days in the 50s-60s. Have fun shhopping.

message 46: by Clarice (new)

Clarice Had a great time shopping. Dragged my brother all over the city. Gave him lunch.

message 47: by Janice (new)

Janice Bet the shopping drove him crazy, but I'm sure he enjoyed the lunch. Have a great day.

message 48: by Clarice (new)

Clarice He did have a great time at lunch. Purchased a second meal for his dinner that night.

message 49: by Janice (new)

Janice That great. Sounds like the two of you had a very fun day.
