believe again
Believe Again.
There's no delay in me saying goodbye to 2017; it was bittersweet. This year was spent with me in the boxing ring, fighting to hold on to my blessing of what-God-said.
Sometimes the good is overpowered by all we go through. The tough times, poor decisions, and my mistakes produced a mindset of I-don't-ever-want to EVER be here again. I still shake my head at some of my silly decisions. It's never good when you shoot yourself in the foot.
All of the trials produced oil.
And the oil was for His glory.
Everything I faced was purposeful.
Or God wouldn’t have allowed it.
Despite all of the trials, I was able to complete everything I set out to do. God gave me the grace and the spirit of completion to get to the finish line. Everyday I did something to work toward the goal. I know it was Him because there would be no way I could have gotten it done without His touch.
To come to the end of Day 365, we can both say that we made it.
This year cost me in ways I didn’t know I’d have to pay. But to God be the glory. A woman of God said, “Watch what’s about to happen, God is doing some amazing things.” My response, “Mmmm hmm,” see my attitude was more along the lines, 'yep, I've heard it all before.' Because I know there is a condition before I can get to 'that.' I might have to go through a ‘this.’ I'm the first to admit my faith tank had dipped low. Because to press in God can be tiring. I was exhausted (still am). Thank God I didn't run out of faith. (Palms up, right there)
But I heard the Lord whisper, “Believe, Sonya, Believe .” It stirred me and I agreed with the Word of the Lord. He Is Doing some great things. And I say to you, as it was told to me. “Believe. Again.” Time belongs to God. He’s going to meet you. Be there. Show up, with faith . And receive all that God has for you!.
Happy New Year!
