I was at work and two girls were having their own conversation with me in the room. One girl cussed and quickly turned to me, though I didn't say a word, and said, "I'm sorry, Sunshine. I forgot you were in the room." There was a slight pause before she said that she's happy that someone still has moral conviction.
In Exodus 3:5, God tells Moses that where he stands is holy ground. I might have a very small inch around me were I stood in that room. However, I don't have say a word or preach a sound; the peace of the Lord is stronger than anything I have to say. And I don't have to engage in conversations that bring on cuss words; for wherever I stand, I make sure each word I say reflects the holy nature of God.
We want to make sure that whatever comes out of our mouths bring blessings - goodness - beauty…not curse words.
