I have some exciting news! This spring, I was accepted to participate in an upcoming box set with 21 amazing authors! Here's the info:-'Angels and Demons' theme-YA/NA/Adult Paranormal Romance-Stories 30-60k words-Release Day scheduled for January 2019-Marketed at a low price (only $.99)!Okay, I can do that. I signed up for the boxset thinking I was gonna slam dunk this thing hard! And then I learned just how out of my depth I really am.This isn't a box set of just 22 random authors. These guys are big hitters. I'm talking USAT and NYT bestsellers, award-winners, cult favorites. They're sporting newsletters lists with 40 or 50 THOUSAND members. (In comparison, my newsletter list is under 2k...)I mean, these are some of the biggest authors in the genre. And somehow, I've snuck into their fortress and now I have to pretend to be in the cool kids club! Help!Throughout the many months until the box set goes live, authors will be given assignments to help make a big splash on the release day. This is where I could really use you! Please, please, please help me look cool in front of the cool kids! Last week, our assignment was to host an Amazon Giveaway and see who could get the most entries. And guess who won? NOT ME! Hahahaha like I had a chance! This week, we've been asked to create a Google Form to collect contact info for readers who would like to pre-order the box set on Nook and iBooks (because these numbers make a big dent in the release day numbers). I'll definitely need all the help I can get in this process. I'm so excited to learn more about how the big authors operate! And now, at last, do you want to know what my story is about? Rather than write a story focusing on both angels and demons, I decided to focus on angels. They are a paranormal element currently missing in my catalog, and I'm always out to try new things and get my hands dirty. It's a clean(ish) M/M romance about a guardian angel who falls for the man he watches over. Here's my first stab at the blurb:Not everyone is special enough to earn a guardian angel.
