Yes; LI closing really left us flailing around. But the worst option was having the books vanish and tbh, our royalties were so low it didn't represent much of a loss. The market is saturated, the books were on pirate sites the day of publication and I was earning about 5k a year over three/four publishers. I used to get angry and sad but now I shrug and treasure the readers who deal honestly with authors.
This giveaway is our way of saying thanks for over a decade of support.
