A FEW THINGS I AM GRATEFUL FOR
Dear Readers,
It’s almost the end of 2018. Can you believe it? This year has absolutely flown by and as I reflect on this year, I wanted to share some things I am grateful for:
I published two new books this year:
THE CLOCK FLOWER: Book 3 in THE FIG MYSTERY SERIES
ASSATA SHAKUR: A 20th Century Escaped Slave
I received a Book Excellence Award for both THE CLOCK FLOWER and ASSATA SHAKUR: A 20th Century Escaped Slave.
I received a major film contract and a major movie/TV series option on two of my books.
I received the Marquis Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Barbara Casey Agency successfully negotiated book contracts for three of my clients.
I have a supportive community of readers, just like you.
On a more personal note, my mother celebrated her 96th birthday this month and is in excellent health.
