New novel!
I'm so excited for my new novel, THE BUTTERFLY GIRL, on sale Oct. 1st! A companion novel to THE CHILD FINDER, this is a story about a street girl who believes in butterflies—and Naomi, searching for what may never be found. The story was inspired by my own experiences as a homeless child, the sanctuary I found in the local library, the poetry inside the books—and the real dangers of the streets. I think of it as a real life literary thriller. If you feel called to preorder or add to your list, I'd be honored. I'm so deeply thankful for this community, and all it does for writers.

I haven't read Child Finder but will put it on my list and try to read it before your new one comes out. I just loved "The Enchanted"!

I’ve enjoyed your last few books & you’re now on my auto-buy list. Just wow... you include so many important & heavy social issues in your fiction & with such wisdom too. Thank you for creating such a deep reading experience that continues in my mind long after the last page was read. This is definitely on my most anticipated list of books to read this year. It so perfectly captures the sense of magic in the book, the beauty that can exist in darkness.
