James Potter eBooks-- Finally!

I really don't know why this took me so long, and I do apologize, but the official Geo-certified versions of the James Potter Series eBooks are now available. You can get them at the website: www.jamespotterseries.com or right here on goodreads via the book pages. Get your copies, read them on your various devices, and get ready for the upcoming "James Potter and the Morrigan Web", due out... sometime. Maybe next spring? We shall see.

And in the meantime, do avail yourself of my newest original novel, "Ruins of Camelot", available everywhere this December 1!

alansplace I'm almost midway through 'James Potter and the Curse of the Gatekeeper' so this announcement comes as a really nice thing to hear. I just hope you're able to release it in EPUB & MOBI formats at the getgo (is that a word?) I just bought 'The Riverhouse' at lulu.com so have something to read from you between the time when I finish reading 'James Potter and the Vault of Destinies' and when 'James Potter and the Morrigan Web' is supposed to be released.

Good luck.

P.S. will 'Ruins of Camelot' be available as an ebook?

G. Lippert Indeed it will!

alansplace Good to hear.

alansplace My EPUB of 'The Riverhouse' that I bought at lulu.com has all the graphics missing, it doesn't even have a cover. There's just one file in the Images folder named sample.jpg! Is that how the book is supposed to be distributed?

P.S. Well, this is odd. When I open it with ADE it does have the graphics and cover, but when I open it with Sigil the graphics and cover are missing!

G. Lippert Nope. Sorry about that. I don't know how or why that happened. Weird thing is, I never asked them to release that. The Kindle version seems problem-free.

On an up-shot, the cover is the really only decent graphic. The missing bits throughout are just a simple chapter-break graphic. I didn't even draw it myself. In short, you aren't missing much.

So I'm incorrect in my earlier claim, sorry, but I sure wish it would all show up in Sigil, oh well.

alansplace Converted it to MOBI for my Kindle and it is just fine, sorry again for the inaccurate report.

alansplace With help from some folks on the mobileread.com Sigil forum was able to make some small alterations to the original ePUB from lulu.com and now it conforms to the stricter standards for ePUBs that Sigil requires and will fully load in Sigil. It was a fun exercise!

alansplace I just finished reading Vault of Destinies and was blown away! Wow! What a climax! Sure am looking forward to Morrigan Web.

I just started The Riverhouse.

I'd like to try Flyover Country as well but I only read on my Kindle and as nice as your PDFs seem to be they are pretty much useless on a Kindle.

Hey Alan. Have you tried changing the format on the Kindle to read the PDF's. On mine, the writing is super small and you can't change the size of the writing on all James Potter books. If you press the Aa button (if you have the keyboard version) and then scroll down to Screen Rotation, choose the one that turns it on its side and the writing automatically becomes the normal size. Hope this helps. Looking forward to JP 4. x

Thanks Elaine, yes I've tried all of the things you suggested and I find the results to be very unhelpful, at least for me.

Jared I don't get it, how is book 4 not available but Book 5 is available on the jamespotter web page. I have only read the first book and working on finishing the 2nd book. Look forward to reading the 3rd book, but will need to get book 4 downloaded and read before continuing onto book 5.
