The Trouble With Vampires - Argeneau book #29

Book #29, The Trouble With Vampires, is about our favorite tormented Notte, Santo. Readers have been asking after Santo's story ever since he first appeared in Under A Vampire Moon, and his story is finally here as of Tuesday, April 23rd!

Having lived thousands of years, Santo’s literally seen it all and suffered far too much at the hands of those who were determined to break him. He is a survivor but centuries of torture and abuse have left him with scars that run so deep he’s plagued by nightmares every time he sleeps.

Petronella Stone’s slight stature is a striking contrast to Santo’s huge linebacker proportions, but still her no-nonsense personality can handle pretty much anything thrown her way, including Santo’s nightmarish past. For she, too, has a past, one that has left Pet aware of immortals and what they’re capable of. So when a 911 call brings Santo and several rogue hunters to the neighborhood, she’s ready to grab her nephew and run. But fate has other plans for her, and Santo may have just met the one person strong enough to wrestle away his nightly demons.

On sale Tuesday, April 23rd !

[The UK / Australian edition will be on sale Thursday, April 25th!]

Janice Can hardly wait to read it. I'm retiring from my library this May--at age 57-- to take care of my almost 89 years old Mom, who broke her left hip & femur in a fall. I feel quit unready, as I'd planned to retire at 70.

Kathy Reading is my Valium (and trying to substitute it for chips and chocolate). Bless your heart for taking care of your mom. Do you have an option of a visiting nurse to help in the care (if needed or if you are feeling overwhelmed)?

Hi Janice,

I'm so sorry to hear your mom broke her hip and femur...I hope her health keeps improving. It's very nice of you to take care of her like this.

I'm sure you'll be missed at the library Janice. I hope you and your mother have a nice spring.

Take care,
Lynsay

Janice Thank you so much. I'll let my Mom know of your good wishes. I just received the library copy of The Trouble With Vampires, today--About a week after I started reading my own hardback copy. Have a great day.
