It's a daunting thing to publish a novel. I wasn't sure what to expect. I had high hopes and low expectations, I've found life works better for me this way. What I've learned is that trying any creative venture offers many gifts along the way. This book is no exception The gifts this book has given me are numerous: new friends, connection with family I'd not had before, travel, readers who are thoughtful in their analysis, public speaking experience, did I mention new friends and exposure to a whole new industry. But most of all this book has given me gratitude Gratitude for all the strong women who have come before me and who will live long after I am gone and gratitude for the people who had faith that I could actually write something of my own, especially Robert Eversz, my teacher, Duvall Osteen, my agent, and Rob Spera, my husband.
