BAD JUJU FOR E-READERS
Bad Juju
My first solo novel returns as an eBook. Published originally by Walt Hicks of HellBound Books in 2003, the novel never had much of a readership before some very baad juju and a couple of hurricanes sank the small-press publisher and doomed any chance of a second print run of Juju.
But now, thanks to the upstart e-book publisher Acid Grave Press, BAD JUJU lives again and nobody but collectors of out-of-print editions will have to pay $50 or $80 to own this book.
BAD JUJU was generally very well received by readers and critics. As my Goodreads friend Kelly Tomblin said in her review for Horror-Web: "Gripping you from the moment you open the book, the pace is swift and constant. Building up to an explosive ending, the suspense will wreak havoc on even the most sedated reader. Hot and thick, the atmosphere reeks of earth, blood, and decay. The astringent air carries with it a sense of malevolence, and resentment.
