So today I'm submitting my second book, Piper's Promise, to publishers. I'm super anxious about it because I feel like this is my best work to date. It's a sequel to Hawk's Heart which is my debut novel and it took me several rewrites and submissions before it was finally picked up a publisher. Finger's crossed it wont take as much effort this time around, and that the publisher will also like my pitch for a third book and turning this into a series.
After I hit that send button, I plan on relaxing with a good book and a hot cup of tea. It's been awhile since I've read something I haven't written, and I have a pile of books waiting patiently in my to be read pile. Maybe this will help with my nerves while I wait to hear from the publishers.
The question is: which book should I start with?
