I didn't see the CC on this. Sorry. Captioning is the only way I can watch British programming. I enjoy it on PBS but w/o CC I'd be lost. It doesn't help that the characters speak so softly & I have to turn it up, & then comes an ear-deafening blast of music. Do wish someone could explain why they do it that way.

It is not just British - at one time I had trouble understanding London English, for example. Irish English - do not even let me start on it.

In US anybody who learned English of Ohio would not be able to understand somebody from Texas or NYC.
