First blogpost ever

It can be safely said that I am new to all things social media. Be it Facebook, Twitter, or blogging, I have done none of these things before. However, with my first book release, it was brought to my attention that these things are essential to any author. So, at the risk of making an utter fool of myself, here is my first blog post.

Let me begin by saying that I am not a native English speaker. There are a lot of mistakes in what I write, and I need the help of good proofreaders and editors to make my novels as flawless as possible. So, if you find something awkward in this post, and wonder how an author could possibly write something like that? My apologies, I am striving to become better, but this blog will be written without any proofreaders or editors.

It has been two years since I started writing more than just snippets. At some point, I was bored with the things I usually did in the evening, so I started making up a world—one with undead, and only undead.

To make sure I wouldn't accidentally add some living things, I made it so the entire galaxy could sustain none of it. Because I had never written something longer than a few pages, I decided to strengthen my resolve by posting every chapter on RoyalRoad. I promised myself, and nobody in particular that I would write a chapter per week, and set out.

Now, two years later, Nothing but bones is finished, edited, and published. In the first week, more people read it on KU than all the people on RoyalRoad in the first year. Although this surprised me, it also made me happy. The book was self-published, but from the reviews and messages I have had, people enjoy it.

As I have left many open ends in the story, there will obviously be a part two. The first few chapters are on RoyalRoad already, although I have slowed down my writing of book two considerably.

Why? Because in the last two years I have also written three other novels.

Minglings is a mass-transmigration novel in which humanity is drawn into the main verse and forced to change into another species. In it, I write about a few human teens as they transform into Kobolds and later Dragons. The first book draft is finished, and the second one will be within a few months.

Again and Again. A horror story, where we follow Anton as he tries to escape a demonic place, respawning every time he dies.

And a full-blown LitRPG story, one that is longer than any of the ones above. Currently sitting around 140k words, I will release the draft on RoyalRoad somewhere this year, to see what people think.

As you can see, I am writing a lot, and that is without talking about the many premises I have lying ready. Writing is my passion, something I have only realized over the last few years. No matter how successful I end up becoming, I will always continue writing.

So, now you know a little bit more about me and what I do. If you have any questions, just send me a message, and I'll be happy to answer.

Widelmi I loved the book "Nothing but Bones" and I have to say the book is really well written and I'm surprised that English is not your first language. I loved it so much I'm planning to buy it and adding it to my kindle library since I read it on kindle unlimited. I'm looking forward to any new books you want write and good luck in your writing endeavors.

Thank you for the positive words, and your patronage, Widelmi. They mean a lot! It is awesome to hear you enjoyed it, and there will be more books coming from me this year. Book two in this series will be next year, though, so I hope you will enjoy my other stories as much!
