I'm not sure what I expected when I took the decision to start to follow the dream I'd hidden inside me for decades, and I mean decades, but it wasn't for me to quit my job and write full time.

Oh, I think that thought was there and I was hopeful, but here I am four years later having jumped off into self-employment after having spent my whole life believing I needed to have a secure income...

But a wise person once said, we aren't here for a long time, so make sure and have a good time. I was a nurse and have worked in the caring profession for 35 years, I've witnessed death many times over, from the young to the old and one thing I didn't want when I skip off this mortal coil was to not have lived my best life.

So I've taken the leap of faith and put my trust in the universe. So lets see what happens :)
