It’s a humorous, irreverent spin on transgender memoir that covers growing up Mormon, undergoing open-heart surgery, coming out, and more. It was fun to write exclusively for audio, because I could be conversational, quippy, and fun — and because so many people who listened to REAL QUEER AMERICA said they enjoyed feeling like they had gone along with me on the road trip in the book.
