Will's Story . . . (For Want of a Better Name)

Woo hoo.

So, thought I'd drop a line, just if anyone is interested. If not, this acts as sort of a progress diary for myself. :)

Yesterday I formulated a plot for the third book in the 'Enemies to Lovers' series following William Sharp from 'St-st-stuffed' and another someone else from a shorter story of mine (not giving away who just yet). But maybe you can guess?

And today I started it. The first rough chapter is done. If I keep going at this rate in three months I should be done.

I'm looking forward to seeing where these characters take me. . . . I know wherever that is it will lead to romance, but I may be surprised at some of the detours. Certainly, I hope so.

Hopefully tomorrow proves just as productive. We'll see.

Mandapanda Yay! Can't wait to read William's story. I'm still trying to think who the 'someone else' might be. Is he from (In)visible?

Emma Sea Exciting news! I love productive days (I wish I had more of them). I adored Will just from that brief glimpse you allowed us, and I thought he needed a hug. Is it a character from a published book, or could it be someone from a short story on GA?

Anyta Sunday Thanks Mandy, Emma!

Lol. The character is from a shorter story on GA. I bet that just about gives it away. But the reason I didn't want to say it just yet is I'm having a technical difficulty with it.

See, truth is--and Emma, perhaps you guessed already--Get It is actually a fictionalized Dunedin. I pictured Dunedin in every way while writing it, only I wanted to give it other street names and didn't want to be too confined to the 'real' city--although it is, if that makes any sense. So now, because I made it very clear Will was off to NZ--Dunedin, I'm going to have to go back and makes some tweaks with said short-story and change things like the airport name to ground them in the real "Dunedin". haha. Just as well that story isn't published--shouldn't be a hard fix.

But yeah, hands down it's obvious who the love interest is now. *chuckles*.

Emma Sea It was clear that Benny at least was a Kiwi: only we are that obsessive about our coffee (best in the world, people!). And you stated outright that Will was off to Dunedin, to Otago Uni. So is it James's date, Shaun, that Will can fall in love with?

Anyta Sunday LOL, yeah they were Kiwis. And honestly, nowhere I have been in the world are the cafes half as good as those in NZ. :)

But no, it's not Shaun. Actually, it's Heath . . . but a bit of time (couple of years) has passed for his character, so he's changed in some ways . . .

Emma Sea Oh, god, I hope he has...he was a jerk! Hopefully Will can make a deserving man out of him.

Anyta Sunday Well. . . I'm sure by the end of it ;). Of course, there's a reason why it's an enemies to lovers series. Lol. But kidding aside, if he's a prick at first, there's most definitely a reason for it.

But, you know, I'm only two chapters in. So, we'll see. And judging by the amount of re-writes I do on first chapters . . . well, lots can change. :)

Emma Sea I actually really like jerks to lovers themes. Have you read Mary Calmes Matter of Time series? Man oh man is Sam a jerk. Repeatedly. Each episode of jerkiness just makes the eventual end sweeter. So I'm happy to hear it's Heath and Will; great potential there, yum.

Anyta Sunday Matter of Time, eh? Well, sounds like I just have to check that out! Good, I was wondering what my next read would be. :)

Cheers.
